White Slave Lovers (2001), which will be released in the US as Dakota Bound, is another from Lloyd A. Simandl, and, as usual, features an enormous amount of nudity. After a full day of fighting hardware problems, I was only able to finish the images for Fawnia Mondey, but she as a very busy young lady in this film. She shows everything in a lengthy stand in the tub bath scene, has a very hot lesbian encounter, another not nearly as hot, and sex with a man.

Tomorrow, expect a detailed review, and 5 more identified actresses, as well as half a dozen Unknowns. These images are from a Region 2 PAL DVD ordered from the UK.

Evolution is Ivan Reitman's recent attempt to create an updated version of his own Ghostbusters. No nudity.

China Moon is one of those movies with the beautiful abused woman and the rich husband who could stand a good killin'. But how to do it, and who to blame. Aye, there's the rub. One of those films where everyone double-crosses everyone else. As Tuna pointed out, it is a workmanlike thriller which is watchable, but has no special flair. Madeleine Stowe stars, Ed Harris plays the policeman who compromises himself to become her lover. Look for a young (and not very effective) Benicio Del Toro as Harris's partner.

First bootlegs of Heather Graham in Killing Me Softly (Opens Jan 18th - maybe - it has been postponed before, and already carries the stench of defeat about it. If a studio has a film ready for Christmas but decides to release it after the holiday, it is usually a very bad sign. When a studio has a film to be released in 3 weeks and has no mention of it on their corporate web site, and no dedicated web site set up for it, that's a worse sign. Something is wrong here, although I don't know exactly what.)

I eliminated all the unknowns in all the various straight-to-vids that Tuna and I have reviewed, and I will eliminate many of the above before preparing the ballot. (Obviously, Rachel Weisz's scene in Enemy at the Gates wasn't one of the best of the year!)

Sexy star Halle Berry had an out-of-body experience while watching her love scene with Billy Bob Thornton in Monster's Ball. The actress was more terrified about watching the scene than actually being in it, but the experience turned out well. She says, "I had an out-of-body experience because I was able to see the sex scene and not see myself - I was able to watch it and go, 'Wow, look at her.' I didn't say, 'Oh my God, look at me.' I could really disconnect from it and really be into that character." Halle demanded studio chiefs behind the new movie screen it privately for herself and husband Eric Benet. She explains, "I didn't think it would be fair the night of the premiere for him to see it for the first time and have everyone say, 'So, what do you think?' I thought he should go and see it out of respect for him and, honestly, he really didn't like it too much. It's hard to watch. He's a red-blooded man and I don't think any red-blooded man wants to see his wife like that but at the end of the movie he was able to say I'm proud of you, you took a risk and no matter what people think about it you followed your heart. I sat behind him. After the scene he did excuse himself for five minutes - probably to throw up. He was far from excited. I'm married to a very secure man."
