"About Last Night"

About Last Night... (1986) is a by the numbers romantic comedy that rises above itself due to a very honest plot, good dialogue, and four good performances. Demi Moore works at an ad agency, and is screwing her boss, but not very enthusiastically, when she meets Rob Lowe in the park, where he is playing second base on a slow pitch team. The mutual physical attraction is instant, and they progress from sex on the first date to living together. Lowe is not ready for commitment, and the two each face pressure from their respective best friends, who feel somewhat left out and abandoned. James Belushi as his friend, and Elizabeth Perkins as hers, are brilliant in pointing out that two people falling in love is not just entirely about them, but it has ripple effects through all of their relationships. They also supply much of the humor.

Moore shows breasts taking a bath with Lowe, and breasts and buns in bed with him, and raiding the fridge naked. IMDB readers say 5.8 of 10. Ebert was enthusiastic and awarded his precious 4 stars. It received an 86% positive from Rotten Tomatoes. Ebert, in his review, wondered why Hollywood didn't make more love stories. I think the 5.8 of 10 is part of his answer. Hollywood makes what they think the theator going public will pay to see. Even a love story this good is clearly not the way to riches. Still, it is a top notch genre effort, so high C+.

There is only one review online for Love and a Bullet, and the reviewer went on at great descriptive length and had approximately the same opinion I had of the film - "Surprisingly un-bad. Another self consciously hip hitman-comedy and I guarantee it will annoy the shit out of many of you. But I was surprised to find myself laughing with a lot of the jokes and ultimately enjoying the thing". Since he also wrote an entertaining, humorous review, I'll let you read the rest of what he had to say rather than trying to reword it. Male nudity, and female toplessness. The two females are very attractive, but anonymous.

About Schmidt, starring Jack Nicholson in an uncharacteristically subdued role, was nominated as Best Picture by the Golden Globes, and is considered a serious Oscar candidate. Nicholson and Kathy Bates were also nominated for acting Globes, and the film was also nominated for outstanding screenwriting and directing. The good news: there is female nudity from the star, in fact quite a bit for an Oscar-caliber film. The bad news: the female star is Kathy Bates.

    • The yellow asterisks indicate that I wrote the review, and am deluded into thinking it includes humor.
    • If there is a white asterisk, it means that there isn't any significant humor, but I inexplicably determined there might be something else of interest.
    • A blue asterisk indicates the review is written by Tuna (or Lawdog or Junior or C2000 or Realist or ICMS or Mick Locke, or somebody else besides me)
    • If there is no asterisk, I wrote it, but am too ashamed to admit it.

Today I have a couple of mystery girls that maybe someone might be able to help with from 1972's "Please Don't eat my Mother". This epic was one of the first sexploitation movie was one of the first to mix in some mild hard-core scenes. It was chock full of nudity, and these two scenes were too good to pass up.

The first scene unknown is a strawberry blonde getting it one in a car (warning some shots are pretty hard core).

    • Unknown #1, breasts and bush, plus views from the gyno-cam in links 6 and 7.
      (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)

The second one has a blonde and her boyfriend taken captive by Buck Kartilian to feed to his human eating plant (caution here too, both male & female frontal nudity).

    • Unknown #, full frontal nudity. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

    Jessica Alba
    (1, 2)

Great cleavage from the "Dark Angel" babe in scenes from the fun comedy/horror flick "Idle Hands".

Kelly Monaco Fantastic toplessness from the former Hef-mate, also from "Idle Hands".

Rachel Hayward The Canadian actress topless in scenes from the straight-to-vid flick "Cruel and Unusual".

Joanna Page Brief toplessness in scenes from the Jack the Ripper flick "From Hell" (2001).

    "Gypsy Eyes" (1992)

What's this film about? It's a slight reworking of the usual cop thriller formula - good cop betrayed by his colleagues joins forces with the suspect, who always happens to be a beautiful young woman, to bring down the bad guys. This time the setting is the US Embassy in Romania where the head of security investigating a murder finds himself the prey for rogue elements within the Embassy. He joins forces with suspect, a beautiful gypsy girl (Claire Forlani), and together they save the day.

What's this film really about? Claire Forlani doing full nudity. A few days back Junior pointed out that Claire always looks good and shows little. This movie is the exception and that's the real story of this film. This was her first film and Claire obliged with the nudity in a manner she has never repeated. There are four nude scenes - she shows the side of her breasts with the diplomat and when changing her shirt; breasts, butt and very brief bush in the sex scene and breasts when emerging from the lake.

    Here's the breakdown...

  • Rear nudity...links 9 and 14
  • Side breast views...links 5,6 and 13
  • Toplessness...links 7,8,10,11,16 and 17
  • #12
