The first 'caps from "The Anniversary Party"
Here's the Scoop...
Written by Alan Cumming and Jennifer Jason Leigh, filmed on digital cam, and features a lot of Hollywood A names - Kevin Kline, Paltrow, Phoebe Cates (!). The big stars essentially play themselves with different names, and improvise based on their own experiences.
As an example, Kline plays a once-handsome actor too old to play leading man roles, and Phoebe Cates plays his wife, an actress who gave up her own career to have a family! Paltrow plays a young star with a mega-million price tag per pic.
(Ebert and Berardinelli gave it three stars each)
Most important, Jane Adams and Parker Posey took their shirts off, and we have it, although the DVD won't be out until Jan 15th
The guy who sent me thse suggested that Posey may have had small implants, and that does seem reasonable because, although she isn't Anna Nicole Smith now, she had almost nothing when last seen in "Misadventures of Margaret"

"Commando"
Commando (1985) stars Ahnold in an Actioner with an attempt at humor. Arnold is a retired elite special forces commander, living in the boonies with his young daughter. An exiled dictator plans to kidnap his daughter and force him to assassinate the current president so he can return to power. In addition to his super-human whoop-ass antics, they feed Arnold some humor lines which fall completely flat do to his English skills and lack of comedic timing. Rae Dawn Chong is funny as a stewardess who he kidnaps, but ends up helping him. She stays dressed, but I can never resist her, so I did an image or two of semi-pokies.
The exposure comes from a scene where Arnold is fighting in a motel room, and breaks into the next room. THere is a couple there getting it on, and taping the event for posterity. The woman, played by Ava Cadell shows mostly breasts, as Arnold continues to fight. A then 13 year old Alyssa Milano plays the daughter. Maltin says two stars, and IMDB readers say 5.6/10. My expectations were not high, and I was entertained. Kick back, turn off your brain, and enjoy the spectacle. With some clever action
sequences, a few intentional laughs, a lot of unintentional ones, and Rae Dawn looking cute, it is a watchable "bad movie." C.

I will have some more new releases tomorrow. I'm working
on updates and archives now. Three new volumes today, one of them a
monster.
I updated the Encyclopedia entry for Lorissa McComas. What
a task! This must have set some kind of record. That volume alone now
includes about 180 pictures, of which about 110 are new to the
encyclopedia, and about 75 have not even appeared in the Fun House! There
are also new thumbnailed volumes for Samantha Mathis, and one of my all-time
favorites, the French Überbabe, Mathilda May.
Miscellaneous:
The IMDb scores for Lord of the Rings are unreal! 180 boys
under 18 have voted. 175 10's, 3 9's, 2 8's. Score: 10.0. The theater by my
house has it on three screens, playing continuously from nine in the morning!
And that's on a Wednesday!
The broadcast critics have announced their nominations for the
best cinema achievements of 2001 (including a best supporting actress
nomination for the all-time Fun House Queen, Jennifer Connelly).

The first bunch of scans come from the December issue of Arena. This is an upscale men's magazine, similar to FHM or Stuff or Maxim or GQ or.... A great scam these magazines have going: they convince the latest and the hottest babes to pose in states of almost-undress, with the stipulation that the best goodies are usually hidden, and THAT is supposed to be good for the undressee's career. Hasn't that been Hefner's line since 1954? Anyway, Arena has first-rate babes and superior photography. Great stuff to scan. In December they had the following:
Rachel Hunter, still yummy after all these years. First scan is the cover, all cleaned up. It has some reasonable see-through activity going on. Scan #3 is a B & W pic of Ms. Hunter's impressive dorsal surface, but scan #4 is my fave and is, not coincidentally, the most revealing.

Sophie Ellis Bextor, who I did not know from Sophie's Choice before reading a bit of the article 'bout her. Seems she's a singer of some repute. Terrific looking woman, 'specially in a corset.
Kelly Brook, in a teaser for what is to come in the January edition. It is said to be her "most intimate" pictorial. As soon as it arrives I will let you guys decide for youselves.
Famke Jansen in a series of provocative but unrevealing pictures. In the third scan she sures looks a lot like Shania Twain.

Paparazzi pics are a staple of Arena's offerings. This month they had Jennifer Lopez in a mild pokie pose and Nicky Hilton (and her sister, Paris) at Nicky's 18th birthday party. Nicky appears to be humping some guy's leg. Uh, fellas, you know that party you're getting together for me? And you
know I asked you to invite the Arquette sisters? Well, if they're busy that night, the Hilton sisters will do just fine.

I feel the need to make up for all those partially clad babes, and what better way than to set PETScan loose on November's Penthouse. Melissa Star was the Pet of the Month and guys, you want to know something? These are the least explicit pics in the portfolio. The woman inserted devices in places you would not believe. Geez, the first Penthouse I saw was a mid-80's version. Revealing, to be sure, but tame... almost reserved... compared to the pictures they print these days. PETScan also scanned an ad with Stephanie Wood, former bunnymag model and former Pet, in it. The boy did a good job on a pretty low-quality photo.

Re:Laura Herring/Laura Harring
In the 12/19 edition you posted a pic of Laura Harring. This is apparently the same as the Laura Herring in the Encyclopedia. If you compare the two pictures, you see that she got some robohooters(big mistake in my book).

That is the same actress from "Silent Night, Deadly Night 3", and the observer seems to be correct about her enhancement.
I don't know the story on her name. IMDb says she changed her name from Laura Martinez to Laura Herring. No hint as to when it became Harring instead of Herring, but it appears that Laura Elena Harring (with an "a") is now her real legal name, and not just her stage name
In 1985, as Miss USA, it seems that she was Laura Herring, with an "e".
