Still
struggling with my IP
over the download
speeds. They are in
denial, claiming that
they can't duplicate the
problem, so I send them
a half dozen e-mails
from around the world.
Here is a sample from my
cover letter:
"The
key facts:
1.
It is still
ridiculously slow, and
the problem exists
from all connections
in all parts of the
world, so it seems
unrelated to
connection speed.
2.
My uploading time is
normal, so it also
seems unrelated to
server performance.
3.
My other server is
operating at normal
speed, so it also
doesn't seem to be a
matter of throttling
Frankly,
I just don't get it.
How can all three of
those facts be true
simultaneously. If the
server is OK, the
account is OK, and the
connection is OK, how
can download speed be
reduced? Is somebody
flooding that
particular server with
a DOS attack, or
something like that?"
