I enjoyed Wall Street the first time I saw it, but find it doesn't hold up well for a second viewing. Knowing what is going to happen makes the film a colossal bore. Written and Directed by Oliver Stone right on the heels of his Oscar winning Platoon, it garnered a best actor for Michael Douglas, and a Razzie for worst supporting actress for Daryl Hannah. I think the Razzie was a little unfair -- I have seen Daryl do much worse. Maltin gives it 3 stars, and Ebert 3 1/2. IMDB readers have it at 7.0. The film grossed $43.848m domestic.

It is the story of a young stock broker (Bud Fox, played by Charlie Sheen) who finally gets his chance to meet Wall Street "elephant" and shark, Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas). To impress Gekko, he gives him inside information on the small airline his father works for. After crossing the legal line once, he is hooked, and soon is doing insider trading full time, and making a killing. Along the way, he loses his old girlfriend (Suzen Murakoshi) and apartment, and gains Daryl Hannah, an ambitious interior decorator, and a new apartment. When he discovers that Gekko intends to close his father's airline, not save it, he has an 11th hour crisis of conscience.

Suzen is shown in a dark scene getting out of bed and walking across the screen nude. It is dark, but is full-frontal. There is a sex scene between Hannah and Sheen, but it is so dark, it could be Howard Stern in a clown suit rather than Hannah and you couldn't tell the difference. She does wear a very friendly dress at the party where Sheen first meets her. Some films hold up with multiple viewings, but this is not one of them. The characters are not especially likeable, there is no action to speak of, and the romantic relationship is not really explored. If you haven't seen it, by all means do. If you have, don't bother seeing it again.

I had previously reviewed Hudson Hawk, also with no nudity, but this Sandra Bernhard is good for some laughs.

The rest of these are the continuation of my work on the immortal cinema classic, Fear City, featuring stripping from Melanie Griffith and Rae Dawn Chong, some topless dying from Rae Dawn, and an ostentation of peahens engaged in their professional capacity as Clothing Removal Engineers. These range from "the stripper with great breasts" to "the world's ugliest stripper".

Maria Conchita Alonso was also in the film, billed as Maria Conchita. Although she was also supposed to be a stripper, I couldn't find any instance of her having stripped. She may have been the only person in the cast with any clothes on except for Michael Gazzo.

Speaking of an ostentation of peacocks, which Brainscan mentioned a couple days ago,here is a cool page which includes some of the more obscure collective nouns in the English language. If you don't know what I'm talking about, English has a very poetic way to describe herds of beasts and flocks of birds. Not an flock of larks, but an exaltation of larks. Others include a mustering of storks, a parliament of owls, and a pitying of turtledoves, and many more silly, obscure, and often beautiful phrases - to be found on the list on that page.

#1 is Watty's original. #2 is one I extremely brightened for the purpose of a little extra proof. Sho'nuff, there is nipple exposure and her face in the same frame! It's subtle, but it is there.

So what's my definition of naked? Well basically it's the showing of any skin that is not visible when a woman is wearing either undies or a bikini. By my definition, Louise does not qualify. But I'll let you guys decide for yourselves.
