Marshall Herskovitz has one of the strangest resumes I've ever seen. He directed this movie in 1998, did a helluva good job (7.0 at IMDb), and hasn't directed since. He has produced a lot of films, has written a pretty good screenplay (The Last Samurai), and has directed a few TV episodes, but has not directed another feature.
