"Satan's Slave"
Satan's Slave (1976), AKA Evil Heritage, is a British attempt at Satanic horror. Candace Glendenning is a young woman with psychic ability who goes on holiday with her parents to visit an uncle and cousin she didn't know she had. As they arrive, the car crashes and both of her parents burn to death in an explosion. As she begins to recover, she makes friends with the cousin, which seems to anger the uncle. Whilst out for a stroll, she has a vision of a witch, Monika Ringwald, being stripped, branded, whipped, then burned at the stake. The girl being burned morphs into her. When she arrives back at the house, she has sex with her first cousin, and plans to escape with him. Then she has a vision of being sacrificed by her uncle and cousin to reanimate a long dead powerful witch. She fleas, after stabbing her cousin to death in the eye with a nail file, and runs into her dead father, very much alive, who tells her it has all been a bad dream. She is left with her uncle, who shows her the body of her cousin with the nail file still in his eye.
I gave up questioning the plot early on, although there are plenty of questions to ask, such as why we see the persecution of Monika Ringwald, other than the full frontal nudity, or why does the father pop up after he was burned to death and buried? Glendenning also does full frontal while she is imagining her torture ceremony, and we see a naked unknown women leading the torture.
IMDb readers have this at 4.0. The video quality is simply awful, the plot nonsensical, and the eye stabbing the only real bit of gore. This is another in the Horrible Horrors collection, and only has merit as a bad movie. C.

Browns score 35 in the second half - and lose!!!
Cleveland's QB went 30 for 39 for 413 yards and 5 TDs - and lost
58-48, as Cincy's Rudy Johnson rushed for 200+. It was a wild one.
The Browns were down by two TD's, 34-20, then came back to take a
48-44 lead, but the Bengals then put up two more TDs to win it.
Their combined 106 points was the most scored in a game since the

Mike Nichols says there was a Portman topless scene in Closer, he
cut it, and it will definitely NOT be on the DVD:
"There were two seconds of film where you saw her topless. She
opened her shirt and that was it, but now that moment has taken on
a life of its own. I've heard that you can see the footage online,
which is not true. The truth is I had a deal with Natalie.
Basically I said, 'It's your body. You decide if the two seconds
are in the film.' It was not my call because it's her body.
Natalie said, 'I don't want to be walking down the street and see
a guy who has seen my tits.' So I took it out." (Nichols also
insists that the topless scene will not be on the DVD version.)

Words from Scoop.
.avi's from Shiloh.
.wmv files made by Scoop from Shiloh's .avi's.
NOTE: because of a unique combination of
circumstances with the Windows media player and some substantial
bandwidth theft, we will have to do all of our movie files in zip
format. Left click on the files as you normally would to view a
picture. When
you get a choice, click on "save", and put it on your hard drive in
the directory of your choice. UnZIP and play from there.
I know this is not especially convenient, but it
allows the film clips to continue. I can protect .zip files from
hot-linking in the same way I can protect still images. For some
reason, if I protect .avis and .wmvs from hot-linking, they will not
play in the Windows media player, and I can't get a satisfactory
work-around. Perhaps I will find a better solution, but for now this
new policy allows you to continue getting the movie clips you want
to see, which is much preferable to my abandoning the clips
altogether.

Perhaps these tips will help if you have trouble
with the codecs for these movies:
Shiloh says:
FYI when I hypercam vids to make the file size smaller I use
DivX MPEG-4 Fast-Motion for the video compressor, then I use
virtualdub to compress the audio. The properties for the
vids says the video codec: DivX Decoder Filter & audio
codec: Morgan Stream Switcher which I'm not familiar with.
When I compress the audio with virtualdub I use MPEG
Layer-3. A friend of mine told me about compressing the
audio about (6) mos. ago. Like I said previously, only been
capping for a year & a half & I'm no expert. Hopefully this
info will help members with the proper codecs for my vids.
When I cap big brother's I use hypercam mostly & sdp &
asfrecorder if the set up allows me. I stopped using
camtasia cause the file sizes were always too big, could
never figure out the process, over my head lol, plus it cost
too much to buy in my opinion.
A reader says:
You mentioned that some users were
having trouble with the videos on your site. There is a tool
designed to determine what codec is needed for a video.
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ Hope this is useful to you
or your users.
Scoop says:
I made the .wmv versions of each video. The codecs for these: Windows Video V8, Windows Audio 9.
The upside of these is that you know the codecs, and they'll play in
the Windows Media Player. The downside is that they are slightly
larger, and slightly lower quality.

Racheengel (1999)
Hello Scoopy !
Today we've got some clips of Chiara Schoras, who has her own
volume in the Encyclopedia which even includes a collage created by yours
truly. This girl of German-Italian descent showed everything in a
love scene in the made for TV movie "Racheengel - Stimme aus dem
Dunkeln" (1999), which would probably translate as Avenging Angel,
Voices from the Dark, or something like that.
That's all for today.
Yours faithfully,

'Caps and comments by Dann:
"The Ranch"
Set in a brothel based on a real brothel in Nevada, 2004's The Ranch could have been simply a T & A sexploitation piece with lots of nudity, a very thin plot, and poor acting. Unfortunately, it wasn't......they left out most of the nudity.
The movie follows the everyday lives of several of the prostitutes. It attempts to be a serious look at the problems they face. One is getting married, but she hasn't told her intented that she's a prostitute. Another is running away from a L. A. pimp. Most of them hate the work but love the money. You get the idea. There is plenty of nudity, but even in the unrated version, it's tasteful and restrained. That would be fine if the movie had a good storyline and good acting, but unfortunately, it doesn't, so the whole thing is disappointing.
At least they tried to keep the moral right from being too outraged by emphasizing that the girls practice safe sex. Nice try, but next time either show more and turn it into a soft-porn cable flick, or get a better script and more talented acting.
