"Supernova"
Supernova (2000) is special effects, including models, CGI, make-up and lighting, a surprising amount of exposure, breasts and buns from Angela Bassett and Robin Tunney, a not much in the way of plot. They are futuristic paramedics on patrol, and get a call from a great distance away, which means they have to travel via a "dimensional jump." They land in the middle of a huge gravitational field, and lose most of their fuel due to collisions with space junk. The captain dies during the D jump due to equipment failure, and the person they are rescuing turns out to be a bad guy who has a container full of 9th dimensional matter. Even the ships computer (a talking one reminiscent of HAL) can't explain what it is, but can explain that it is some seriously nasty shit. One of it's effects,
however, has been to make the bad guy nearly indestructible.
This film is seriously bad. It plays like they never figured out that the script was the problem, and kept throwing special effects at it trying to fix it. IMDB readers say 4.1/10, Berardinelli says 1 1/2 stars, and Apollo says 56. The only plus is a lot of nudity for a recent PG-13. On the other
hand, it is so dark the MPAA might have overlooked it. The 4/3 version is far better for tit watching than the Wide screen. Other than two version, the DVD is bare bones. This film was made on a $60m budget and directed by none other than Francis Ford Coppola. Total US gross was $14.281m. Coppola refused to have his name listed in the credits, which proves he still has some taste. D-.

Barbarian Queen is possibly the worst in the Deathstalker/BQ series, in which all but Deathstalker 2 were written by the same guy.
The bad news: (1) weak movie (2) not really a sword-and-sorcery at all, but a Spartacus wannabee about a slave revolt against the Roman empire. In other words, a period drama, but with no concern for period detail.
The good news: (1) only 71 minutes long (2) nudity in about 68 or so of those 71 minutes

Bad Taste is a film made by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) before he became a professional filmmaker. The name says it all. One of the grossest, silliest films ever made. Think Terry Gilliam on acid. Also a cult favorite on university campuses, at least with male students.

The most visible Penthouse Pets either went into porn or dominate the B movie scene. Yet quite a few did a movie or two and then faded into history. Two of them are Ginger Miller and Valerie Rae Clark. Ginger began acting... or something vaguely approximating acting... in 1985 as (get this)
a Playboy Bunny in a tv movie called, A Bunny's Tale. Ho ho, I get the double entendre. Bunny? Tale? Who comes up with this stuff? Anyway, Ginger finished her career in 1993 as the immortal Bikini Audition Girl 14 in Beach Beverly Hills. Competition for this role was said to be fierce.
Valerie Rae Clark, on the other hand, played a part in the never-to-be-forgotten 1978 classic, Deathsport; it was a role so demanding and so complete that she felt it best to retire and let history judge her talent. So, on the good side of things, both women are right nice lookin' and, seeing as how this is Penthouse, they do reveal their better sides. The young man, PETScan got 'em in all their glory).

I was watching "24" on Fox on Tuesday night, and there is a scene near the beginning where two chicks are making out. One of them gets up from the couch, and I swear you can see right down her night shirt as she gets up. It re-runs on Saturday I think. Can anyone get caps?

I've been watching "24" on FOX and I couldn't figure out why I knew the woman playing the presidential candidate's wife. She was so familiar to me. So I finally checked her out on IMDB and found she played Beverly, Larry's assistant on The Larry Sanders Show. What I also found out was that she used to be a GLOW girl. She was "Liberty" on the show. Any chance of digging up some photos of her from her wresting days?
