"Evil Spawn" (1987)
Evil Spawn (1987) is a Fred Olen Ray production written and directed by Kenneth J. Hall in his freshman effort. Kenneth came to Hollywood about 10 years too late, as he would have been perfect in exploitation. He loves making horror films, and loves using naked women in doing so. Evil Spawn is
no exception. An aging actress starts taking an elixir to reverse the aging process, and it turns her into a fly monster from time to time. The film was written tongue firmly in cheek, and has some real corn, such as an early scene where a monster tears a lids arm off at the shoulder, then
tries to beat his girlfriend to death with the bloody stump.
We have clear breast exposure from Bobbie Breese, breasts, bush and buns from Pamela Gilbert, and buns and a see through bra and panties from Leslie Eve. The DVD transfer is the pits. While it claims to be re-mastered from the original camera negative, it looks more like a VHS tape. Many scenes are way over-saturated, some under-saturated, and all are grainy. The beginning is disjointed, and many of the performances are way over the top, but a nude swimming pool scene is top notch. Everyone hates this film, but, for a low budget horror spoof, it has plenty of bad movie appeal, and is not that bad for a first effort on nearly a zero budget (Hall got $2,000.00 for writing and directing). I will give it a C-, mostly due to it's appeal in the get drunk and goof on it category, and because of the breasts.

Following up on the release of Tomb Raider (covered yesterday), Angelina Jolie is the babe of the day.
- Gia. A trivial controversy concerning this film: there is an unrated version which was released to VHS only. It was never shown on TV or the DVD. The Snapper pointed this out to me today, and Tuna had previously noted it in his review. There is
something like five minutes of additional footage. I'll give you the precise details as soon as I get a copy. Meanwhile, this collage from Watty includes images not on the Region 1 DVD.

Ticker is a film where former action star Steven Segal sits in a chair for almost the entire movie as a high-tech computer-and-explosives whiz. What more is there to say? One more thing. No nudity. A mega-stinker featuring Dennis Hopper with an Irish accent..

Looking fantastic in this shower scene with great breast exposure from "See No Evil, Hear No Evil" (1989). This movie was the third paring of Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder, and while much lighter and 'fluffier' than "Stir Crazy" and "Silver Streak", it's still good for a few laughs.

Rude Jennifer Aniston Picture For Sale
A saucy picture of Jennifer Aniston and her former boyfriend Tate Donovan is being offered up for sale. The snapshot shows the Friends beauty dressed only in a thong and bra lying next to a naked Donovan. A pal says, "Jennifer is beside herself. She is horrified that such a private picture
is up for public sale. But even more distressing is the prospect of her husband Brad Pitt seeing it. Like most newlyweds, Jennifer and Brad have blocked out the idea that either of them has ever had an ex lover."
The picture was taken on a French holiday in 1997 by a self timing camera. Donovan claims the shot was stolen after their romance ended. It is now being offered up for sale on the photography market.
