"Sheena"

Sheena was a short-lived TV series, based on the comic book character Sheena: Queen of the Jungle. Prior to this series, there had been another TV series in the 50s and a 1984 movie Sheena, Queen of the Jungle starring Tanya Roberts. This series starred Gena Lee Nolin as Sheena. Unfortunately, there is very little nakedness on show but Gena does look good in leather.

Scanners III

Scanners III: The Takedown is the first Scanners movie I've seen. (I haven't even seen the Cronenberg original. I found recently that I've got a lot to catch up on in regards to Cronenberg.)

I hope the Cronenberg original isn't like this. It's a pretty poor movie, every "scanners mind trick" scene is embarrassing, featuring people looking like they're straining for a shit as they're deep in a mind battle.

Mirror Mirror

Mirror Mirror is only marginally better than Scanners III. There's a similar "mind power" plot, but at least there's no straining happening, the plot is somewhat more tolerable, and the lead actress (Rainbow Harvest) could be Winona Ryder's sister.

Somehow the Mirror Mirror series has 4 movies and I've seen the second one but there's nothing to cap from that movie and looks like it was made for the price of the mansion they rented starring the girl from Mr. Belvedere plus an early role for Mark Ruffalo.

Beowulf

Not much to say about Beowulf, another retelling of the Beowulf epic poem, this time with Christopher Lambert, but this one inexplicably turns into Predator which is a baffling development.
