I've done "Friends and Lovers" before on VHS, but since it came out on DVD, I figured why not upgrade evereything? The movie got horrible reviews. Many people called it the worst movie of the year. I thought it was not that bad. Basically a 90 minute episode of "Friends", except, (1) it has nudity (2) you don't know the characters. Now that's no recipe for an Oscar. It was bad, but it wasn't as bad as people said. Th evidcaps came out good. It was quite richly and clearly photographed, and that made it is quite pleasant because Schiffer got down to her bra, Eastwood got naked, and Cryer got topless. Hell, if Claudia had done a frontal, I'd have given it six or seven stars out of a possible four, and worn out the DVD by now. By the way, I love Eastwood's alto speaking voice.

Sophie Marceau is easily one of the most adorable women to ever face a camera. Marquise is the story of a very ambitious actress who is given her break by Moliere. She also becomes a favorite of Louis XIV. One more of Sophie. If you require a happy ending, avoid this film. I will be doing two more of her films.

First Love, Last Rites is a very strange film about first love, set in the bayou. Natasha Gregson Wagner is easy to look at, but this film is not in my top 100 list.

Early Kelly McGillis in what is, to me, one of the most sensuous scenes ever filmed. She plays a devout Amish woman. In this scene, she is bathing, and Harrison Ford is peeking. She discovers him in a mirror, and turns around to give him a better view. The scene is dark, brief, and only shows breasts, but the combination of voyeurism and suddenly revealed mutual passion makes this VERY hot. There is not one word of dialogue; this scene, like many in the film, is done with great acting, not dialogue.

Like Zononon Zor, Crow is always in search of the true movie classics. Today's cap is from one of the greats, My Favorite Martian. We're really looking forward to his McHale's Navy series. Oh, well, it's Daryl Hannah skimpy, so it ain't so bad. Crow is the one who had to sit through the movie. We only have to admire Daryl.

Response to Fred

This is getting complicated. Fred himself sends in responses to the Page Three Girls, and now people are sending in responses to him. Yesterday, Fred sent in some of Brandy Sanders (or is it Ledford, or Giselle, or Jisel or Alicia???) and Kelly Jackson (or is it Raquel Darrian??). I can relate to these multiple names. After all, I am not always Scoopy. When I travel among the Aztecs, as I so often do, I am called Scoop-Mool (rough translation: "he who always finishes second in the Aztec games, because the first place guy gets his heart cut out"), and of course when I am fucking Jennifer Aniston, I am known simply as "Brad Pitt".

Anyway, the point, if there is one, is that some other guys sent in more of those two girls doing their thing together. (#1 , #2 , #3 , #4 , #5 , #6 , #7 , #8 , #9 , #10 , #11 , #12)

And one final one of Darrian playing with her toys and/or Brandy. An interesting movie fact: in her 60-odd movies, Katharine Hepburn never played anybody named Brandy. She did, however, play Lutie, Lizzy, and Tracy

Hi Scoopy. I don't like to think I'm obsessed, I prefer the term thorough. Jill Scholoen's famous primarily for having the lead female role in a heap of 1980's horror movies. I first noticed her in Cutting Class and I've been working through her back catalogue off and on for the last year or so. Jill's other claim to fame sadly is her failure to get naked in most of her movies. Only the Stepfather of the four movies below contains nudity.

Hot Moves. Before Jill played the virginal heroine in 80's Horror Movies she played the chick who wouldn't put out in the T+A comedy Hot Moves. Needless to say in a movie littered with nudity including a memorable naked run along the beach by 20 or so babes to the theme from Chariots of Fire, Jill's bikini is kept firmly in place.

Stepfather - Jill's biggest hit and the movie she gets naked in. A coincidence? I think not. It's a pity she didn't take the hint. I'm sure everyone's seen this cool little horror flick so I won't waffle. Instead take a look at 2 shots of Jill in all her glory. (#1 , #2)

Cutting Class - Jill in an 80's horror flick again. For the rest of the world this is probably memorable for an early appearance by Brad Pitt. For me its memorable for Jill bending over.

Last Days of Paradise. Known as "There goes my baby" in the US. Jill goes period drama! Set in the 1950's Jill wears big hair and strips down to her bra.

That covers pretty much all of Jills exposed skin except for Thunder Alley. The Bare Facts guide lists brief nudity but the Australian video release doesn't have it. Whether Bare Facts is wrong or it's just missing from the Australian version I don't know.
