Bazookas the Movie
This one was a request.
What can I say? We get all
kinds of requests and we
aim to please. It was
actually not unpleasant to
watch.
Bazookas the Movie,
although made in 2009,
looks like a no-budget
straight-to-video 1980s
film, and it uses the
basic formula for all
1980s comedies: slobs vs
snobs. Because of a wager
between two brothers after
the death of their dad, a
struggling fitness center
has three months to reach
profitability or it will
be torn down for a shiny
new office complex. The
lovable, pudgy brother who
wants to keep the gym
alive finally decides that
the best way to sell
memberships is to sex the
place up a bit - strip
aerobics, topless
aquatics, etc.
And (spoiler alert) it
works, despite the best
efforts of the scheming,
evil brother, who tries to
sabotage everything his
kindly, bumbling sibling
is trying to accomplish.
OK, it's not original.
It's 50% Dodgeball and 50%
Used Cars. It's not subtle
either, or very slick, but
the good news is that the
film doesn't skimp on the
T&A. Several women get
topless and one of them
shows it all. You can see
OZ's collages from this
film in the July 23rd
edition. Here are the film
