"Has anyone scanned in the "controversial" image of Alexandra Paul in the 'Hollywood Reporter.' Similar to the Jenny McCarthy sitting-on-the-loo pix. If not, how about a request on the site for it?"

"Greeting from Downunder! Australian movies, especially from the 70's, rival the Europeans when it comes to displays of naked female flesh, particularly that of high-profile Aussie and International stars (Hell, we even got Olympia Dukakis to chuck away her top - you be the judge as to whether or not that was praiseworthy...) One 1977 film that has stuck in my mind for a long time, but I have been unable to track down on video, is "Journey Among Women", with a cast including Michelle Johnson (way before "Blame It On Rio"), and Nell Campbell (Columbia in "Rocky Horror", "Lisztomania"). The story revolves around a group of convict women in Oz settlement days who escape into the bush and build their own community. My (vivid) recollection is that many of the cast spend a goodly percentage of the time either totally or partially naked (there being a dearth of good coutouriers in the bush in the 1700's...) I found an image of Nell from the movie (attached), and I'll betcha Mich was part of the naked brigade as well. I remember seeing the (VHS) video in a rental shop way back, when all I had was Beta VCR, so it's out there! "

Dear readers, from Scoop this time. I forgot to mention that the straight-to-vid with Jean-Claude was directed by John Avildsen. You may have forgotten, but you surely knew who he was at one time. He directed the original Rocky! His IMDb range goes from Rocky (7.47) to Karate Kid III (3.70), a range of 3.77 from top to bottom, easily stomping out Franklin Schaffner, who I had assumed to have the widest gulf. As it turns out, both of them are stomped by John Boorman, who goes from 7.68 to 3.61. I forgot - I guess I wanted to forget - that Boorman directed Exorcist 2, the only flaw in his bejeweled career. That is not only 4.07 worse than his best movie, but it is 2.27 worse that his second worst movie!! His second worst in the IMDb rankings is "Zardoz", which isn't such a bad flick

"Don's Party" is first on the docket from The Big Fish. This 1976 Aussie movie was directed by Bruce Beresford, of "Driving Miss Daisy", "Tender Mercies", and "Breaker Morant". David Williamson ("Gallipoli", "The Year of Living Dangerously") wrote the script. It is virtually unknown outside the film buff community, but is highly respected. I've meant to see it for many years, but have never gotten around to it. This is Candy Raymond.
