The Basement is a terrible serial killer movie where a serial killer taunts his victim by acting out various roles, while Mischa Barton frets for nice little cheque. Buddy, just end it all now, I can't take another monologue... Anyway, little known Australian actress Maria Volk turns up for 10 seconds in a ripped open top and screaming at the beginning of the movie. Seen her in a few things in Australia under the name Marsha Vassilevskaia, which I assume is her real name, so it was a surprise to see her turning up in an American movie.
