Boomerang (1992) is a comedy Romance written and staring Eddie Murphy, and, after a couple of disastrous tough guy roles, he returned to light comedy, which he does quite well. Here, he is a high level executive in a cosmetic company, and a real pussy hound. When he finds himself working for Robin Givens after a merger, she becomes his target, but she turns the tables, and uses him as a tranquilizer to relieve tension and nothing else. Meanwhile, Halle Berry, who works in the same firm, and is sweet, loving, and talented, is attracted to Murphy. Of course, it takes the entire film for Murphy to get with Halle.

Murphy, Givens and Berry all were perfect in their roles, and provided the enjoyment. Much of the humor was cultural, that culture being upwardly mobile blacks, but I still laughed in parts. Ebert liked it a lot at 3 stars, but IMDB readers say 5.1 of 10. Givens shows her breasts twice in very dark sex scenes with Murphy. It is a watchable comedy, although a little long at 118 minutes, and earned $131M worldwide against a $42M budget. The proper score is C.

Movies 

Singin' in the Rain has been released in a special 2-disk DVD edition with an extra disk of special features. The features include a 96 minute documentary on Freed musicals, and a brand-new "making of" documentary on "Singin'", narrated by Debbie Reynolds. There is also one additional musical number which was deleted from the final cut. No nudity. (It's rated G, so watch with your kids)

Enigma is a kinda-OK movie, a fictionalized account of the WW2 codebreaking done at Bletchley. I was interested in the subject and still found it slow going, and it is the worst quality DVD I've ever seen, so skip it if this doesn't sound like your kind of material. Eight collages full of Debra's terrific hooters.

Collages 1-3 also have some of her bum in them; numbers 1-6 were taken from a sport-humpin' scene that was shot with near-perfect lighting. Numbers 7 and 8 are from a robe-dropping scene that you just gotta see. Collage 7 and has the three best frames at full size, whereas whereas number 8 shows the complete sequence of robe discardment.

The way I figure it Debra was the chief victim of silicone breast implants. If it weren't for them, every B movie from 1990-2000 would have had her in it, instead of a silicone sister. Maybe her parents should sue Dow-Corning. Why not? Especially in a world where parents of a couple of over-eating chubsters have sued McDonalds for...horrors...making their food and their establishments attractive to kids. What I wouldn't give to be the judge hearing that case.

Then we got Kimberly Rowe's terrific little bum and the smallest hint of her crotch. Tis the last of the Kimberly caps from this movie. So sad.

Lori shares nekkid screen time with hottie Stacey Leigh Mobley. Collage 1 is a high-density set of frames that show Lori's boobs and Stacey's bum; the second offering is a single frame from the same sequence, and the third is a triple-B performance by Stacey and a half-hearted shot of Lori's bum.

So, as we wind down the caps, I figure we need to develop a booty average to judge films of this sort. Booty average would be the length of screen time with a nekkid babe visible divided by the running time of the movie. Gotta figure this Emmanuelle offering would be close to .500. And if you compute the equivalent of a slugging percentage, in which two nekkid babes are a double, three a triple and four a homer, then Emmanuelle: A Time to Dream would be like the Babe's 1929 slugging percentage and exceed 1.000. A lofty record, that.

Then Krista Allen does her thing in two sport-humpin' scenes. Lots of smoke and diffusion in the first scene so I grabbed only a few frames. Krista shows off her robo-hooters only in those two.

Next scene... the last of the movie... was a target-rich environment. Terrific lighting in this scene. Almost felt like I was cheating when I put together these collages. I grabbed over 100 frames and put the beth of em into 16 collages. Goes like this...

I just watched a promo for the "Scrubs" season premiere on Saturday and it showed another bra shot by Sarah Chalke. I don't know for sure if this was a misleading trailer but I sure hope some of your cappers are interested enough to tape it!
