  • Clarification: the first StarGate TV episode featured nudity from the character formerly played by Mili Avatal, but not played by Avital in this series
  • Masterpiece Theatre
  • The caps are not new, but Masterpiece Theatre is currently re-running Moll Flanders, and Alex Kingston is certainly better known now from her tabloid relationship with Ralph Fiennes and her gig on ER, so here're the caps done by Realist back in April. Alex has some seriously large nipples.

  • A true masterpiece
  • I've been working on Big Bad Mama since the beginning of time. Frustrating movie, because it features unique nude scenes (Shatner for example, and Angie Dickinson frontal), and includes as much nudity as any movie you'll see without Harry Reems in the cast. The evil flip side is that it is quite a cheaply filmed movie, so it's hard to get any stellar captures. I did the best I could. They still aren't so hot, but that's enough time on this project. The lead-off item has to be Angie Dickinson full-frontal. Let me try to put this in perspective with a comp. (I am a member of SABR- the Baseball Researchers' Society - and our guys find it easiest to describe an old time-player by making a parallel to the most comparable current player. I find it a very useful technique.) The comp for Angie Dickinson is Elizabeth Hurley (1) Both made movies, but were not really movie stars or great actresses. (2) Both were mature women (although Angie was 43 when she made this movie, and Hurley is only 34 now), and considered among the greatest beauties of their time. (3) Both were members of the beautiful jetset who traveled with equally or more famous partners (Angie's was Burt Bachrach. Coincidentally, Bachrach and Hurley did a scene together in the first Austin Powers movie.)

Not a perfect comp, but you get the idea. Now imagine Hurley acting in a grade-b movie and doing tons of nudity as well as a completely nude love scene with Jerry Seinfeld (the TV cult star of his era, as Bill Shatner was of his own). That helps you put this in perspective. Here is Angie. You can't believe she was 43 when she did this. Oh, I guess her face looks it, because they had to shoot her in very soft focus, but what a body!

  • Angie madly humping away with Captain Kirk. Did you know Angie is actually Angie Brown, and she's from North Dakota? I remember that some time around the filming of Rio Bravo, the studio had her legs insured by Lloyds of London for a million clams. They did stuff like that in those days for publicity. "Hey, Scoop, that isn't much". A million simoleons was a lot of scratch in those days, ya big jamoke. That's what the joke is all about with Doctor Evil.
  • I played with the lighting on the one above, but I just couldn't get it to look natural. It was originally shot in some kind of blue filter, but I couldn't figure out how to unfilter it properly. Here's the original, just for reference.
  • Here's a little frame of Angie on her back that simply didn't fit anywhere else, and wasn't good enough to deserve more work. On the other hand, I don't know of anybody else capping this frame.
  • Angie gets dressed for a shoot-out
  • her love scene with Tom Skerritt. I read that Angie originally did this scene without a body double, but there was some technical problem and Angie couldn't reshoot it because of prior commitments, so they reshot with a body double. Unfortunately, I think these two frames are the body double.
  • I think you all know who Sally Kirkland is, but maybe you haven't seen her when she had small breasts and dark hair.
  • Kirkland again.
  • Joan Prather as a kidnapped heiress. She later became a regular on "Eight is Enough", but hasn't been seen since the last "Eight is Enough" reunion a decade ago.
  • Susan Sennett. She was one of the girls who appeared on Ozzie's Girls, the "new" Ozzie and Harriet show after Dave and Ricky grew up. Her career consisted entirely of that and this movie, and she gave it up at 19. A couple of years later, she married Graham Nash of Crosby, Stills and Nash. Last time I looked they were still together after 20-something years.
  • Susan Sennett. She did this nude scene with Tom Skerritt just a year after her whitebread role on "Ozzie's Girls"
  • Susan Sennett. If you remember "Song for Susan", she is the Susan of the song.
  • Polly Lee. I don't know anything about her. IMBd has her listed in two other movies. First, as the star of "Switchblade Sisters" ("So easy to kill, so hard to love"). Second, in a minor role in something called "Linda Lovelace for President". This starred Linda Lovelace (surprised?) and ex-Monkee Mickey Dolenz, so you know it was jam-packed with powerful drama. One IMBd viewer said "see Mickey Dolenz drive a toy bus down a naked girl's hiney. What more could you ask for?". Back to the point, Robbie Lee provided the first two nude scenes in the movie. She got her wedding dress ripped off in the opening scene, and provided this downblouse in a subsequent car chase.
  • Robbie and Sennett both jump in bed with Tom Skeritt.
  • Robbie takes stripping lessons
  • Here's the generous stripper who taught her
  • Follow-up
  • We asked yesterday for images of Susan George in Tintorera. Umpire rushed to the foul line and made the call. Here ya go.
  • more Umpire Caps of Tintorera. Umpire also sent in some caps of "Friends & Lovers", but I didn't use them because I did some of my own, and they'll appear tomorrow on new releases day.
  • We also asked yesterday for Wendy Hughes in Jock Petersen. here's Don Juan's version.

  • ICMS
  • A mice sampling of Euromaterial today. Apparently ICMS has been watching some other channels besides the all-Flemish network. By the way, he wrote in to say that it is obvious why foreigners act crazy in Belgium. It has nothing to do with the rich food, but rather with the Belgian Beer. The rest of the world measure beer by the percentge of volume that is alcohol. Belgians measure it by the percentage that ISN'T alcohol. Here's Gabriela Benesch in Quintett Komplett. No, that isn't Boris Becker with her.
