ivans xtc. is a 2000 digitally filmed drama about the final days of a Hollywood producer who is trying to live life to the fullest as he is dying. Hadn't seen the movie before and it's pretty good, reminds me a lot of Bernard Rose's later movie Two Jacks, which I thought Danny Huston was playing the same character but his character dies in this movie and it wouldn't make sense. Not that has been a problem before... It also reminded me of the Australian movie, The Beautiful and Damned, also an updated adaptation of a classic novel and wouldn't you know it, the director of that movie is on the commentary track for ivansxtc. with Lisa Enos extolling it as the best movie of the 2000s (a bit much). Could've knocked me over with a feather...

This is capped from the recent Bluray release of the movie which has the original theatrical version and an extended producer's cut made by Lisa Enos that is 20 minutes longer. It turns out that the copies of the extended version on-line have no audio (but subtitles) during the extended scenes, a total stuff up and I wasn't going to cap the scenes without audio so I went back to original Bluray and on exploration, it's easy to see why the stuff-up happened as the main audio track is designed for the theatrical version. Anyway, there's an alternate version of one scene where Lisa Enos is naked and it is double the length of the theatrical version so plenty more nudity. Apart from that there's a brief scene with Valeria Golino. There's also a whole bunch of outtakes from the party scene where Victoria Silvstedt flashes her breasts a few more times.

Intriguingly, I was listening to the commentary to the movie and they come across a scene in the extended version and Enos is asked about an actress and she mentions Crystal Atkins (who's in a few scenes in the movie) and says she's Australian. So I looked into her and she doesn't have many credits but she was in a late 90s movie starring Julian McMahon called Magenta and I instantly knew who she was and that she has a few sexy scenes in that movie and that I might have the DVD somewhere around here (haven't found it yet...). Didn't realise she was Australian, so now I need to find that DVD.

Hopefully Lisa Enos's and Bernard Rose's next movie, Snuff-Movie gets a Bluray release soon. Plenty of good nudity in that movie.
