"Darkside"
Darkside (2002), which IMDB calls Darkness falling, is a tight little Canadian thriller. A lawyer, Janet Kidder, investigates the supposed suicide of her twin sister, whom she had drifted apart from. She discovers right away that sis was into S & M, the moment she sets foot in her loft apartment in a seedy part of town. Boyfriend, also an attorney, is not very happy about her spending so much time at her sisters place. She meets Jason Priestly, who claims to be her sisters soul mate, and neighbor woman Patsy Kensit, also into S & M, who had "walk-in" privileges in her sisters apartment, and borrowed her sisters bondage outfits. She begins to suspect that there was more to her sisters suicide than first though.
The suspense builds, and I didn't see the ending coming. Kidder, niece of Margot Kidder, shows buns and breasts in several scenes. IMDB readers have this at 6.6 of 10, with only 8 votes. It is clearly a very low budget effort, and looks as if it was shot on digital video, but is a decent thriller and a fast watch. C.

"The Good Thief"
The Good Thief (2002) is a heist movie, a remake of the 1955 French film named "Bob Le Flambeur," by Jean-Pierre Melville. Bob, the hero, is played to perfection by Nick Nolte. He is a heroin addict, a compulsive gambler, and career thief, who dwells on the wrong side of town, but is loved by everyone, including the police chief, who wants to foil whatever his current plan is so he wont have to arrest him.
WHen Nolte loses his last penny at the racetrack, he agrees to mastermind a major heist in Monte Carlo, even though getting caught would mean life without parole. He befriends Nutsa Kukhianidze, a young immigrant who is using heroin, working in a seedy strip club, and making the wrong sort of friends. We see her breasts when she is trying on a dress for the big finale. She only has three credits so far, but is very cute, her accent is not impossible, and she can act. It is likely we will see more of her.
IMDB readers have this at 6.9 of 10. Ebert loved it at 3 1/2 stars, but Berardinelli was less enthusiastic at 2 1/2. 78% overall, and 79% from the top critics at Rotten Tomatoes. Although the plot doesn't really cover any new ground, there is a lot of attention paid to fleshing out interesting supporting characters, and Nolte was made for the role. This is a C.

The Camomile Lawn (1992):
This is a typically handsome and earnest British
miniseries about a family of British geezers looking back to the
days before World War 2, when they were not geezers. Actually, very
little action happens in the present. The film is mostly about how
their youthful lives were affected by the conflict in Europe.
A few facts about the incredibly gorgeous Jennifer Ehle.
1. You'd never guess it from her accent, but she was
born in North Carolina. 2. Despite the fact that she
was naked virtually non-stop in this series, she doesn't have any
other screen nudity in her career that I know of. I guess she got
it all out of her system.
3. She doesn't make many movies - I think only seven
in the past eleven years. She works on stage a lot, and she used to
do a lot of these distinguished mini-series in the UK. It seems that
she's always in wigs and period costumes. She should do more films.
She's only 33, and she still could be - should be - a major
star. She was in Neil LaBute's Possession, in the scenes which took
place in the past, and I couldn't take my eyes off her. Her special,
radiant beauty owned every second of screen time. (Have you noticed
that I like her? What a face, what breasts, what a smile, what eyes!
She's also talented and can speak in complete sentences.)
4. She and her mother, actress Rosemary Harris, have had strangely
parallel lives.
a. In this film, they played the same part, mom in
the present, Jennifer in the flashbacks. b. In
Sunshine, the director cast them as mother and daughter --
without knowing that they were really mother and daughter!
c. In 2000, Jennifer won her first Tony for the Broadway
production of "The Real Thing". Take a guess who she beat out
for that statuette! Yup, mom was nominated for her role in
"Waiting in the Wings".

Tawny Kitaen in Bachelor Party rated a mention in the FH a few days ago but keeps most of her clothes on. The main nudity (but it is full-frontal!) comes from Monique Gabrielle. Michelle Starck and Renee Breault are topless in a faux porn show, and there are a few unknowns taking their tops off at the party. Lots of others, some of whom you'll recognize as B-Movie actresses, wear a lot less: Dani Douthette, Rosanne Katon, Angela Aames, Toni Alessandrini, Michele Starck and Renee Breault, Martine Finch and Deborah Harmon.

A classic B-Movie horror flick: lame acting, terrible special effects complete with claymation spiders, a thin and transparent plot, and some nice nudity by Alexxus Young, whose nice body makes up for her shaky acting.
Knocked out of the sky by a meteor shower, a group on an expedition to Arizona crash land in the middle of a colony of giant spiders also awakened by the shower.
These kinds of movies are great fun, and this one is no exception. Just a shame they couldn't add a hundred bucks to the budget to get a second actress naked. :-)
