 Dictado is a thriller that
                                              focuses on a husband and
                                              wife, Daniel and Laura
                                              (Juan Diego Botto and
                                              Bárbara Lennie), who have
                                              been trying to have a
                                              child without success. One
                                              day, Daniel is visited by
                                              a long lost friend in
                                              Mario, who now seems
                                              desperate for help, which
                                              Daniel does not offer.
                                              Later that night, Mario
                                              kills himself in front of
                                              his daughter Julia and she
                                              is left orphaned. Laura
                                              sees this as an
                                              opportunity and convinces
                                              Daniel that they should be
                                              foster parents to Julia.
                                              But, something is not
                                              right about Julia, she
                                              struggles to fit in with
                                              the other children and she
                                              seems to know something
                                              about Daniel's past that
starts to get to him. It
                                              doesn't help that Julia
                                              reminds Daniel of a girl
he knew as a kid, a girl
                                              that mysteriously
                                              disappeared.

 A pretty stock standard
                                              thriller. If you've ever
                                              seen any creepy little kid
                                              thriller, you know what's
                                              going to happen in this
movie, I wish I could be
                                              more excited about the
                                              movie, but there's nothing
                                              new here.
