Bug
I am on a semi-vacation and Scoopy Junior is writing the page, but I ran
into a few things worth sharing with you. I didn't create any of these, but
found them across the web.
The big deal is Ashley Judd's nude scene in Bug. The best part of this is
in B&W because LC created the clip from a screener, but it is a good scene,
worth watching even in this form. What a scene it will be in HD!! It'll
finish as one of our annual Top Ten.
Candy
This legendary 1968 corn-fest suffered from being high camp
intentionally, a strategy which rarely works. It worked for the first
couple episodes of the TV Batman, and it worked for Beyond the Valley of
the Dolls, but most high camp comes as a result of grotesquely failed
aspirations (The Lonely Lady, Can't Stop the Music). Candy has a few
moments here and there, but is fundamentally one of the many failed
attempts to create good/bad on purpose.
However, Ewa Aulin and Anita Pallenberg provided some ... er ... eye Candy.
Quartet
Finally, beautiful Isabelle Adjani in those glorious days before she went the
body double route. The last time she showed any flesh for real was twenty years
ago, a brief flash in the legendary Ishtar in 1987. Her two nude appearances
since then (Diabolique and Queen Margot) were doubled.

"Black Candles" (1982)
Black Candles (1982), originally Los Ritos Sexuales del Diablo, is a Spanish horror offering from Jose Ramon Larraz (Vampyres: Daughters of Darkness). It is set in a country estate outside of London. American Vanesa Hidalgo's brother has died, and she has arrived with her boyfriend to settle her brother's estate. Unknown to her is the fact that her brother was murdered by her sister in law and her coven, and that the sister in law also wants to kill her, after seducing her boyfriend and making her Satan's bride. Pretty spicy stuff already, and we haven't talked about the scene where they kill a man by impaling him through the rectum with a sword, the woman masturbating a goat, or the woman fucking goat.
It is rumored that Larraz tried to distance himself from this film. This is one half a a double feature in a series called Welcome to the Grindhouse. Since Tarrantino's Grindhouse, the word has entered the mainstream, and is being used to refer to exploitation.
Vanessa Hidalgo, Helga Line, and several unknowns show everything.
IMDb readers say 3.6. I have to say that it is the best goat fucking film I have ever seen. At the same time, it is also the worst goat fucking film I have ever seen. The transfer is not at all good, and the story line is derivative and predictable. None of the performances showed me anything special. This is a low C-, only of interest to Eurotrash fans, and lovers of bad movies.

Ms. Scacchi doesn't show any R-rated skin in "The Player" yet watching her walk around braless in a "wife-beater" shirt is just as good (if not better.)
These collages just can't get across the "feel" of it. Yowza. I recommend this film (about a Hollywood exec dealing with an anonymous screenplay writer who wants him dead.) Two thumbs up.

Fade to Black (2006): Rome, 1948. In an attempt to recover from his marriage to Rita Hayworth and restart his career, Orson Welles (Danny Huston) travels to Italy to star in Black Magic, only to be drawn into a dangerous web of intrigue, murder and politics when an actor is murdered on the set. Orson's love of mystery gets the better of him, and with the help of his driver, an ex-cop called Tommaso, he turns amateur sleuth. After the duo discover that Orson's name is also on the hit list, it quickly becomes clear that this is a conspiracy that goes right to the top. Old vendettas never die and with the first democratic elections imminent, there are some very dangerous people in town.
Although filmed in English on location in Rome and Serbia, directed by a Brit (Oliver Parker), and co-starring Christopher Walken, the film has never been shown in America and made its commercial debut in Spain! There are no English reviews, and no IMDb comments at all! The Weinstein company acquired the North American rights, but postponed the release, which was originally supposed to happen this spring.
There's no nudity, but plenty of old-fashioned glamour from one famous Spanish actress, Paz Vega, and one lesser-known Italian, Violante Placido

that a formal partnership with the American Red Cross
for a blood drive this October tied to the premiere of
the horror movie, "Saw IV." The movies have been part
of an informal Halloween blood drive for several years
that's raised 38,000 pints of blood. It's called
"Give ‘Til It Hurts."
