TV Round-Up

The season premiere of Damages (s5e1) featured some genuine nudity from Gillian Alexy



and some coy pseudo-nudity from Jenna Elfman.



As indicated in Defoe's section earlier this week, there has been some nudity in the early episodes of Inquisitio. Ophelie Koering was topless very briefly in the first episode.



And Anne-Sophie Franck did a great topless scene on episode three, which just aired last night.

Saturday is what is known in English speaking countries as Bastille Day. It is France's national day and commemorates the storming of the Bastille in 1789. So it is appropriate that this contribution celebrates some of France's culture with a contribution of French films, or films co-produced by the French. The bulk of the films will appear on Saturday, but here's a teaser from two B&W classics from 50 years ago, both featuring Elke Sommer.
