"Cabeza de Perro is about a
teenage boy with a brain disease who after blacking out in the back of a
van, wakes up and finds that he's in Madrid, and all alone, so he floats
between various people he meets looking for a place to stay and for people
who he can connect with. He meets a girl, who he becomes friendly with,
and he gets a job as a elderly care helper, where he meets an old man who
suffers from Alzheimer's and forms a bond with him, allowing him to stay
at his place. A very watchable film, made more so by another charismatic
lead performance by Juan José Ballesta, who must be the next big thing to
come out of Spain."
