I watched the Marx Brothers' movie Monkey Business to see the craziness and look at Thelma Todd.  She was a go-to gal for skimpy clothes in the pre-code era and in this one she comes through beautifully, with silk blouse over bra-less hooties.  Her real-life story is one of great achievement (Monkey Business was one of 18 movies and shorts she made in 1931) and an early, tragic death, perhaps an accident, or maybe suicide or just maybe a mob hit.  But in her time on screen, Thelma Todd could hold her own with Groucho and that is saying something.
