True Blood

s3, e2

There was more frontal female nudity in last night's episode, although not from a main character. In fact, she's not even listed in the credits, although IMDB has her identified in an "uncredited" listing.

Fired Up

Fired Up is a formulaic youthploitation film. Two popular jocks decide to skip summer football camp in El Paso, Texas in order to join the cheerleading squad and go to cheerleader camp. They reason that being the only straight guys in a camp with 300 beautiful girls is preferable to 2-a-days in 110 degree heat with a bunch of sweaty dudes.

You have to admit they have a point.

Besides, the only reason guys play football in the first place is to get laid, so why not skip the middleman and get directly to the fuckin'?

While in the camp, they get in touch with their sensitive inner selves. When forced to choose between their former shallow lives and helping their third-rate cheerleaders be more competitive, they ...

Oh, I don't really need to explain this, do I? If you were to watch the first five minutes of this film, you would easily be able to write the rest of it yourself.

At any rate, there is some nudity. The theatrical release was rated PG-something, but there is an extra scene in the unrated Blu-Ray which features topless nudity from Kate French. (Full 1080p! Sample below)

  • * Yellow asterisk: funny (maybe).

  • * White asterisk: expanded format.

  • * Blue asterisk: not mine.

  • No asterisk: it probably sucks.

The Time Traveler's Wife

Told in non-linear fashion, the story follows Clare from age six, as Henry flits in and out of her life. A romance ensues but it is complicated by the fact that Clare never knows when or for how long Henry will be around.

This is a pretty good chick-flick that is also a pretty good time travel movie. I enjoyed it, especially the time travel parts.

I don't really know much about El Caminante. It's one of those cheesy Paul Naschy films that came out of Spain in the 1970s. The good news is that it has lots of full-body nudity, consisting of nice bodies in good light.
