Rude Awakening

With Chances updates complete it's time to move on but with what? I have a few ideas but they're either a lot of work or a way off completion. So here's something quick.

Lisa (Elizabeth) Lackey was a model who joined Home and Away in 1992 and had a successful and highly popular run on the show until 1995 before moving onto shows like Australian shot US remake of Flipper. She then moved to the States and regularly got work on TV and the occasional movie (she has a brief role as well-known actress too 'good' for the role in Mulholland Drive) but no real stand-out role before quitting acting in 2011.

In 2000, Lisa played a part in the final episodes of the US cable TV show Rude Awakening starring Sherilyn Fenn and Jonathan Penner that ran for three series from 1998-2001. I remember the show played late on Channel 10 early on and I watched an episode or two, probably with the promise of nudity but got bored with the low rent, sparse feel of the show. I doubt Channel 10 played past the first series anyway. They were always the worst offenders of moving and staying loyal to TV shows. Anyway, I finally found a copy of the show so that I could make videos from her appearance. It's not HD but it's from a TV rip and it's decent quality.

Lisa played the character of Raquel, an Australian pilot living in Los Angeles who meets Dave (Jonathan Penner) after she can't pay for her meal at his cafe and accepts a date with him which turns into a relationship and then they decide to get married leading to a bizarre cliffhanger where Dave has to choose between Raquel and Billie (Sherilyn Fenn) just as he's about to say 'I do'. The cliffhanger was never resolved as the show ended leaving it all up in the air.

Lisa appeared in 6 episodes in all starting with episode 8 of series 3 ('How Was Your Date?") where she first appeared nude after her character had sex with Dave. She has another nude scene in episode 11 of series 3 ('Three Men and a Womb') again after sex with Dave where she's looking for more sex but Dave is 'buggered'. They are a couple of decent scenes from Lisa with a fairly lengthy look at her breasts.

I've included collages and various videos from her appearance on the show below. As far as I know, she hasn't done any further nudity although she has a brief side-boob scene in an episode of CSI. Her credits don't suggest there could be more as it's mostly US network TV but if anyone has any further details, I'd be interested.
