"The Erotic Adventures of
Zorro", from Tuna
Tuna's comments: In
1972, the greatest exploitation film of all time
was released. It was written and produced by
David E. Freedman on a huge budget. It fits
neatly into exploitation, and straddles the
border between soft and hard core porn. My guess
is that it was intended for the Pussycat theater
circuit, but, by the time it was ready for
release, hard core had taken over that market. It
was shown in drive-in theaters on adult only
night all over the country, then disappeared from
site. They more than likely lost money on that
initial release. I have been told that it was
shown on late night cable from time to time, and
I have seen proof that it was released on VHS
once, but they must have distributed 3 or 4
copies total, as I have been trying to get it
since I saw it three times in a drive-in in 1972.
The film is "The
Erotic Adventures of Zorro," and is a comic
parody of the classic Zorro story. It is being
released on region 1 DVD today. For me, this is
the most exciting thing that has happened this
millennium. Don Diego (Zorro) masquerades as a
Senor-eater (gay) down to ridding on a burro and
carrying a parasol. This is one of the most
humorous films I have ever seen, and has very hot
hetero and lesbian scenes, and tons of nudity. It
is nearly the perfect adult film. A few hard core
shots from the trailer that don't appear in the
film lead me to believe that they shot additional
explicit footage, trying to figure out how to
make a profit. Those of you that have seen this
already know what I am talking about. Those who
haven't, buy or rent it -- it is a cultural
imperative. It is available from reel.com and
amazon.com for sure, and probably others.

exactly thumbnails, and not exactly full-sized
images, but somewhere in between, for those of
you that just need to have it all. If you see the
first one, you'll get the idea and know if you
want the others.

"Truth
or Dare", from Tuna
Tuna's comments: A
documentary/music video from the infamous Truth
or Dare tour. It is a combination of decent Video
of performances, and grainy B & W of the
activity behind the scenes. Must have for Madonna
fans. The images include the famous on-stage
crotch grab.
I haven't seen it. I was
living in Norway when it came out as "I Sang
Med Madonna". (In Bed With Madonna). There
were legal conflicts with the "Truth or
Dare" name, and that particular game is not
immediately recognizable outside North America.
My Norwegian friends who saw it told me that the
movie really bit the big one, so I washed my hair
instead.

Nixon in last night's, "Sex and the
City". Very impressive quality for a
television show. Not fully equivalent to DVD
quality but, excepting possibly a few from
Blackshine, about the best TV caps I've ever
seen.
