  • When I first heard the title, I imagined some horrible French version of "The Day of the Jackal" (other than the one with Richard Gere doing his impression of the Lucky Charms Leprechaun). Naturally I assumed the Jerry Lewis would somehow be bumbling around Europe as a slapstick assassin. In my imaginary movie, I see him as a cross between the "Nutty Professor" and "Cinderfella". Falling down stairs and accidentally shooting some super magic bullet that always ricochets around the room before making the hit. Little does he know that all he has to do in order to be a great gun for hire, is to do his Labor Day Telethon act. That'll kill any audience. Especially the part when he cries!
