films and in a
scan. Vivi
was a real beauty
when she made Der
må være en
sengekant!
but something
happened between
it and What the
Swedish Butler
Saw (Tuna's caps
below),
even
though both were
released in
1975.
Within in a year
or two of these
movies she
launched into hard
core magazine
shoots. Oh
well. But
while all was
still well she
posed for a
magazine called
Playmen (gads, the
cleverness of that
title boggles the
mind).
It’s
soft-core time
and for the next
few weeks we
will see some
good
old-fashioned
naked ladies,
and not much
else. There is
no time for a
plot or story in
these cinematic
masterpieces.

Focus
is a con-artist thriller
where conman Nicky (Will
Smith) meets Jess (Margot
Robbie) when she
unsuccessfully tries to
scam him, but he sees
something in her and
decides to recruit her for
series of scams he and his
crew are running in New
Orleans. After a highly
successful series of
scams, Nicky and Jess fall
for each other. Nicky
takes Jess to the
Superbowl where he gets
into a series of bad bets
with rich gambler Liyuan
(BD Wong) that ends in
another scam. But after
winning a whole heap of
money, Nicky dumps Jess.
Three years later, Nicky
is involved in setting up
a scam with motor racing
team owner Garriga
(Rodrigo Santoro) and his
right hand man Owens
(Gerald McRaney) to sell a
rival team owner McEwen
(Robert Taylor) fake
schematics for a car. But,
when the plan is put in
motion, Jess enter the
scene and she is now
Garriga's lover. This
throws Nicky as he still
has a thing for her. As
the plan is set in motion,
he becomes distracted by
Jess which may get both
into a whole lot of
trouble.
OK con game movie, nothing
exceptional and some
obvious twists, but a fun
ride with some interesting
scenes (particularly the
Superbowl scene) and Smith
and Robbie work well
together.
