Movies:

I have the long reviews for these films posted at the links:

Deceiver.

Nomads. A rather eccentric movie. The Citizen Kane of movies about evil Eskimo spirits who dress up like the extras in Mad Max.  In terms of comprehensibility, it makes the last episode of The Prisoner seem like an episode of the Flintstones.

  • Anna Maria Monticelli (1, 2)

Bare Witness is a rip-off. Angie's previous erotic thriller (Sexual Predator) was very promising, but this one is poorly lit, not thrilling, not erotic, and has very little of Angie's body. See the other women in Tuna's pics yesterday.

  • Angie Everhart (1, 2, 3, 4)

Here are the latest movie reviews available at scoopy.com.

  • The yellow asterisks indicate that I wrote the review, and am deluded into thinking it includes humor.
  • If there is a white asterisk, it means that I inexplicably determined there might be something of interest.
  • A blue asterisk indicates the review is written by Tuna (or Lawdog or Junior or C2000 or Realist or ICMS or somebody else besides me)
  • If there is no asterisk, I wrote it, but am too ashamed to admit it.

Scoop,

Today's "Babe in Bondage" is Veronica Carothers in 1992's "Mind, Body & Soul". Poor Veronica is in the hands of a cult group about to sacrifice her. Not to worry she is rescued in the nick of time.

Helvete
Cécile De France Topless in a very blue scene from "L'Art (délicat) de la séduction".

Emmanuelle Djakaranda Nice toplessness in her only IMDb listing, "Aldo et Junior" (1984).

Variety
Karyn Parsons

To fill a request...here is Karyn Parsons in a bikini from Wednesday's episode of "The Job". Thanks to DAI for the 'caps.

Pat Reeder The Comedy Wire
Scoop,

I got passes to a couple of press screenings of movies this week, so I thought I'd give you a head's up on them.

1. "Life of Something Like It" - New Angelina Jolie movie. Primarily a chick flick, but with enough humor to make it tolerable to men who tag or get dragged along. Naturally, the Mrs. liked it more than I did, but I was reasonably entertained. Jolie looks unlike she ever has: the character supposedly has a Marilyn fixation (Monroe, not Manson...Jolie's not playing herself here), but her hair is so bleached platinum and lacquered that when combined with the tight pink Chanel suits she sports, she comes across more like the overly calculated Jayne Mansfield than the sexily disshelved Marilyn. Still, Jolie looks good, although they must've killed off a whole flock of sheep to get the collagen to puff her lips up that big.

Of course, the most important news for your purposes: no nudity. There is a sex scene, but since this is a chick flick, that means a Sixpense None The Richer type ballad plays on the soundtrack, a coat zipper is slowly lowered in extreme close-up, and we dissolve to the next morning. Ed Burns is no Antonio Banderas, that is for certain.

2. "The Cat's Meow" - Peter Bogdonavich's umpteenth comeback film, about the alleged shooting of Thomas Ince on W.R. Hearst's yacht in 1924, when he thought he was shooting at Charlie Chaplin for canoodling with Marion Davies. Very good film (although anything set in the silent movie days interests me), with gorgeous art nouveau sets and costumes. I hope it's good enough to make people at long last forgive Bogdonavich for "At Long Last Love." Performances are excellent all around, particularly Eddie Izzard as Chaplin and Edward Herrman as Hearst. Kirsten Dunst is fine as Marion, except it's her most adult role yet, but she actually seems younger than the last time I saw her. Maybe that's just because her leading man is old enough to be her primordial ancestor. Also stars Cary Elwes as Ince, Jennifer Tilly (quite funny) as Louella Parsons, and Joanna Lumley of "Ab Fab," stealing the picture as bitchy romance novelist Elinor Glyn.

Again, for your purposes: one topless scene, but not Dunst. Another actress I didn't know drops her top for no apparent reason during a party.

Moive News
Here's a great quote from Stephen Hunter's review of "The Scorpion King" in the Washington Post (whole review is pretty funny, actually):

"The time is somewhere in the far past, after the invention of G-strings but before the invention of the brassiere - yes, the golden age of man!"

Subject: Re-release of "Amadeus"
According to Roger Ebert, the Director's cut of the Oscar winning movie features an added scene with Elizabeth Berridge topless.

Celeb News
Here's an interesting article on Michael Jackson that talk about his unusual banking habits, as well as the rumours of a possible move by Sony to acquire the rights to the Beatles catalog.

From the Mail Bag
Not really celeb nudity, but the new Abercrombie and Fitch catalog was shot by famous photography Bruce Weber and contains lots of nudity.

Are there any scans out there?
