"The Grifters", from Tuna
Cold-hearted movie, but
brilliant, well performed, and stylish. A noir
about cutthroat people out to sting the world in
a survival of th efittest existence. John
Cusack's character isn't quite cold enough for
this world. Annette Bening frontal nudity, albeit
a bit dark. Do I need to say more to recommend

"Adventures
of a Taxi Driver", from Tuna
Tuna's comments:
"Adventures of a Taxi Driver (1976) is a
quintessential mid-70s soft-core romp. Compared
to real films, it deserves the bomb awarded it by
Maltin. Seen for what it is, you could call it a
cult classic. The story is simple -- Joe is a
London taxi driver, which is ample excuse for his
access to naked women and other mis-adventures.
What separates this era of soft-core from modern
fare are two things. The women are the sexual
instigators (and are usually married), and the
sex is presented as fun rather than as erotic.
The whole point was to show bare breasts.
Adventures of a Taxi Driver is an excellent
example of this genre.
