Another Hong Kong movie for the 90s update, this time the 1992 comedy that turns into a drama, Cash On Delivery. Ir starts off a wacky sex comedy where a wound-up-tight lawyer, Sandy (Sandra Ng Kwun-Yu) is made a fool of by s former singer turned nightclub owner with a penchant for antiques, Simon (Simon Yam). It turns her life on its head as she dumps her boring boyfriend and falls for Simon. He likes her back, but there's one problem and it turns out to be a big one. Just before Sandy and Simon fall for one another, Simon 'auditions' to impregnate rich wife Mrs. Lau (Veronica Yip) and while he doesn't win through the audition process, she wants him, and boy does she want him. So after a yachting trip where they spend most of it trying to get Mrs. Lau pregnant, Simon moves on thinking that it was just a business transaction but Mrs. Lau has other ideas. She wants him and then stalks him, resulting in an 'accidental misfiring' of a gun which kills her husband. So, Simon's up for murder and he's about to go down except it turns out Mrs. Lau is absolutely crazy, as women tend to be.

As I said, it starts out as a sex comedy then gets deadly serious and becomes less interesting, well except for Veronica Yip who is plenty naked plus she wears a lot of clothes where her nipple just happens to pop out regularly. Once is a mistake, a half-a-dozen times is either deliberate or there's a big problem. She really needs to find better fitting clothes...
