Pearls Before Swine is a 1999 drama/thriller wherein 'Daniel' (American musician Boyd Rice) is a hitman who, with his gang of hitmen, kill a bunch of homeless youth so that their organs can be harvested. In between, he spends time with his girlfriend Christy (Lisa Hutchinson), who works as a dominatrix, and their friends Anthony (Greg Scealy) and Isabelle (Baby Lemonade Lamarr), who usually partner swap or dabble in his fascination with BDSM. He also tries to make sense of the world by reading and watching films or going to psychiatrists whom he manages to outsmart to his way of thinking.

Anyway, his hitman buddy Paul (Nicholas Crawford-Smith) comes across a huge hit worth $25,000 each and it turns out that the person they are to kill is notorious writer Morton Bugs. 'Daniel' attempts to find out more about his hit by reading his work and he seems to like what he is reading. In the meantime, 'Daniel' continues his work as a hitman, including working for friend Pascal (George Huxley) on one hit where Christy joins him. Paul gets himself into trouble when he kills a prostitute who turns out to be Isabelle. As the day of the hit comes closer, 'Daniel' becomes reticent about doing a hit job on someone he admires, but also thinks it may take him to a place he's only dreamed of.

Pretentious twaddle and then some from one of the directors of the low budget 'cult classic' Bloodlust where the character of 'Daniel' is some holier-than-thou know-it-all genius who lords his genius over everyone with his similarly-minded girlfriend and then it ends in a way so ridiculous it renders the plot of the movie null and void.

You're never going to see this movie, so I'll spoil it. Turns out 'Daniel' is actually Morton Bugs, the writer who he is to kill. A whole chunk of the movie is devoted to 'Daniel' buying then reading Bugs' latest novel which would be ridiculous to anyone except for this pretentious twat who admires Nazi know-how, does some light Holocaust denial, spends an awful amount of time speaking about BDSM magazines with some other twat and just fuck off. Oh and the hit, it was set up so that Bugs can start some fascist horse shit and Paul never once wondered why he never knew what Bugs looked like even as he goes to kill him. Come on! Bloodlust was a completely low-rent, silly movie but at least it never took itself as seriously as this wank does. Absolute garbage...
