the pictures: Before Lisa Boyle began her
Playboy model and acting career, when she
was known as Cassandra Leigh, she did a
lot of modeling as a blond. Most of the
pictures from this period seem to be of a
very low quality, but these are the best

McGuire. Scoop's thoughts: I have come to
the conclusion that Page Three is kind of
a scam. It seems like the same ten women
over and over again, sometimes they
rename them, but other times they don't
even try to hide the repetition.

Aesthete's notes: Kate
is featured here in Jude, a small film made in
1996. This is a movie which didn't receive much
acclaim, yet it is sandwiched between Kate's
Academy Award nominations the previous year for
"Sense and Sensibility" and the
following year for "Titanic". A
wonderful actress and a sensuous body. Scoop's notes: I agree about her
appearance in this movie. I like the way she
looks when her weight is down. She had admitted
that she ballooned to 100 kilos (220 lbs) at
various times in her life, at which point she was
positively obese, but in this movie she looks
great. In addition, you have to love the fact
that among the world's most respected actresses,
Kate is probably willing to do the kinkiest
stuff.
Can't wait to see what
is in store for us in that new Marquis de Sade
movie. It will be directed by Philip Kaufman, who
loves to test the outside of the envelope on the
ratings system, and what better subject than
DeSade? "Henry and June" was rated
NC-17, and "Unbearable Lightness" was
filled with nudity. It would be a real adventure
if Kaufman, a certified genius, and Winslet, a
double Oscar nominee, churned out a hard NC-17
flick which also happens to be a masterpiece, and
it could well happen! I would love to see it.
Kate is the youngest
actress ever to receive a second academy award
nomination, although she now appears to be
dropping out of the mainstream competition, given
the two outre turkeys she's made since
"Titanic". You have to love it, really.
She could have followed a comfortable mainstream
career, but instead she chose to follow the beat
of her own drummer. Amazingly enough, although it
seems like she's been around forever, and she
looks older, she is still only 24! She was only
19 when Sense and Sensibility was filmed.
