"Rated X" (2000)
Rated X is a Showtime release that purports to be the story of porn legends The Mitchell Bros. (Artie, Charlie Sheen, and Jim, Emilio Estevez). Scoopy has pretty much outlined the plot and covered the exposure in his review. For me, this was a terrible piece of film making, turning a silk
purse of a story into a sows ear. Rather than a balanced character study of the two brothers who made the first sex film with a story, and created an empire of theaters and movie distribution which crashed around them when Jim killed Artie, who he felt was a danger to everyone he knew due to his
drug addiction, they made it into a drugs suck film.
This is not the first I have watched, nor nearly the best. For a good but depressing treatment of this topic, see "The Rose" or "Sid and Nancy." Estevez directed, and went for a pretentious rock video feel, with some grainy 8 mm inserts. The editing does not make the story clear, and several
things are just plain wrong. At one point, Artie is very high, and accuses his wife of cheating at gunpoint. She runs out of the house, and drives off, leaving her two small children alone with her armed and drug-crazed husband. Sorry, but that just would not happen.
Behind the Green Door was the film that made them millionaires. In Rated X, Artie dreams up the plot, fails at directing it, and Jim does it right. This is total fiction, and the real story of Behind the Green Door is an interesting one. US GIs in Korea group wrote a sexual fantasy, each
subsequent author adding his own fantasies and improving the story. Behind The Green Door began to circulate as an underground story, especially among beatniks, In 1956, mainstream America was sort of introduced to its existence, but not really, when a song called "The Green Door" made Billboard #1 for three weeks. Artist: Jim Lowe, Words by Marvin Moore and Music by Bob Davie. Here are the lyrics:
(Midnight, one more night without sleepin')
(Watchin' till the mornin' comes creepin')
(Green door, what's that secret you're keepin?)
There's an old piano
And they play it hot behind the green door
Don't know what they're doin'
But they laugh a lot behind the green door
Wish they'd let me in
So I could find out what's behind the green door
(Knocked once, tried to tell them I'd been there)
(Door slammed, hospitality's thin there)
(Wonder just what's goin' on in there)
Saw an eyeball peepin'
Through a smoky cloud behind the green door
When I said "Joe sent me"
Someone laughed out loud behind the green door
All I want to do is join the happy crowd behind the green door
(Midnight, one more night without sleepin')
(Watchin' till the mornin' comes creepin')
(Green door, what's that secret you're keepin?)
(Green door, what's that secret you're keepin?)
Green door!!
Those who knew about the book could barely contain their laughter around the people who loved the song, but had no idea what it was about. Behind the Green Door was not especially explicit by today's standards, with very few monster shots. Marilyn doesn't have a single line in the film, and has
to act her ass off to get the story across. I have never seen a good print of the film, and suspect that the original is not technically that sharp. The Mitchell Bros. played the hired kidnapers in the film.
The most interesting content on the Rated X DVD is an interview with Marilyn Chambers, who talks mostly about meeting the Mitchell Bros. and making Behind the Green Door. She mentions in the interview that she actually got into the sex, which is one of the reasons it worked so well.
As you can see from this image, they did use an actress who resembled the young Marilyn. Upper left of the large image is Marilyn in Green Door, Lower right is Marilyn in the interview, and lower left is Hutson.
As Scoop mentioned, there is a lot of nudity in this film. See unknown 1 for a crotch shot, 2 for full frontal, and if we don't have actual penetration in 8, it is certainly close. Being from the San Francisco area, having been in Mitchell Bros. theaters, and living here when Jim killed Artie, I was hoping for a great film. I was very disappointed.

I looked at The Emerald Forest, John Boorman's film about the disappearing Amazon rainforest
I didn't do many captures because the women aren't famous, and because Tuna did a superlative and comprehensive job just a few days ago.

Ava Cadell is a twofer; she satisfies the day's page 3 babe requirement and leads to a collage I have had sitting around for a while. In between are a few scans of non-page 3 variety. The caps are from the Sidaris classic Do or Die. I figure Ava must have been 84 when she made that movie but hot damn she looks more than a little okay.

Brigitte Lahaie showed up at the Funhouse on Friday; she was a babe, especially for an active porno-type person.

So I see from the Funhouse a couple of days ago where the Sleuth has page after page of web babes in the latest addition. Thought I would pass along a couple of the same dudettes. Cindy Pucci has to sport the worst set of strap-on hooters ever to see the light of day. Her surgeon thought he was good enough to implant those puppies with his eyes closed, and in Cindy's case he did. And then there was Taimie Hannum, part time B movie bim and exposer of every body part known to man or beast.
We end on a classier note, with Brainscan cult figure Gloria Hendry: these are reconstructed caps from those sent in by Tuna a while back. Many, many thanks to the fishboy for capping this woman.

Kind of a slow week for me as far as capping material goes. I've watched about 20 movies and came out with.. well, lets say nothing we haven't seen before.
First up I watched Road Trip, funny ass movie, if you like that Tom Green type comedy. I capped Amy Smart, in her nude scene, as well as her underwear scene from the deleted scenes.

I capped Gina Gershon in Best Of The Best 3, she is the only reason I even picked that 1 up. I really am not a fan of the Martial Arts genre, not since Bruce Lee. Only a single bra frame, but, I have always had a Gershon fetish.
I also watched Coyote Ugly, and I have to say, only a couple times that I recall have I been more disappointed. First for the lack of skin, now I never expected much nudity, but from the adds, it looked like there were going to be some sexy bar scenes. And second off, I didn't think that we had
to listen to that horrid music every second chapter. Only thing I bothered capping was Melanie Lynskey's semi downblouse from the deleted scenes.
I capped Michelle Pfeifer in What Lies Beneath, the only real reason I rented this movie was seeing Uncle Scoopy's caps of the film. So, since I paid the 3 dollars for the rental, I figured I may as well grab a few frames myself.
Next of I did Rebecca De Mornay in Never Talk To Strangers, I have been planning on capping this one for a year or so now, so I went into my own collection, and dug it out.

This week's theme...some German stuff.
Sharon Brauner
Not the greatest face I've ever seen on an actress, but she more than makes up for that with the goodies below the neck! Vidcaps from "SK Kölsch".
Sylvia Leifheit
Topless in the tanning booth. Scenes from "Der Pfundskerl - Alles für die Katz".
Suzanne von Borsody
Topless in a shower scene from "Eine Handvoll Glück".
| and ...
Audrey Tautou and Vahina Giocante
Gorgeous topless, posterior and full frontal images by Touch. Vidcaps from French movie "Le Libertin"
Julianne Moore
See-thru nipple sightings from the March issue of Esquire. I'll guess a Euro version? Seems like a bit too much flesh for American newsstands.
Amanda Holden
The British actress caught topless by the paparazzi. Thanks to PicCap for the scan.
Alla Korot
A quick look at her breasts as she gets out of the shower in scenes from 1990's "Night of the Cyclone". 'Caps by Devo.

A cleavage overload as Raja delivers a truck load of 'caps for the die hard Xena fans!
Comments by Raja:
Haven't sent anything in awhile because I've been since last December or so working on Xena caps. And didn't want to post anything till I was all done. The fact that a number of good
episodes have appeared the last two or three weeks didn't help at all!

Anyway I'll start with Shiri Appleby. I'm sure everyone has seen her in Roswell. Here are caps of her from Xena. She appeared in two episodes, "Forgiven" where she was whiny but still cool as a wannabe Xena sidekick who "came to replace blondie [Gabrielle]." Unfortunately they ruin her in "Tale of Two Muses" where instead of mischief she just wants to "dance."
As a bonus, link #11 from her current series Roswell.

Meighan plays the delightfully mischievous and whiny Discord in both Xena and Hercules. What I liked about this episode ("Married with Fishsticks") is you finally get to see her outside of the leather outfit she has warn oh-so-well for a few years now. The tacky 1950s makeup doesn't do her justice and the Brooklyn accent they had her use was tacky...but she was quite funny as always.

Adrienne plays Xena's daughter Eve. I especially liked the last episode where
the inhumanly sedate and rather timid Eve starts swearing up a storm at the tabloid reporter asking about her and her mom's relationship with Ares. Very out of character and very funny.

Tsianna is one of the cheerleader/eye candy babes in the movie "Bring It
