"Cotton Comes to Harlem" (1970)

Cotton Comes to Harlem (1970) stars Godfrey Cambridge as Gravedigger Jones, and Raymond St. Jacques as Coffin Ed Johnson, two police detectives who suspect that Calvin Lockhart as Rev. Deke O'Malley is running a scam with his "Back to Africa" campaign. The exposure comes from the Reverend's girlfriend Iris (Judy Pace) when she seduces a dumb white beat cop and convinces him to wear a bag over his head because he is so ugly, then escapes. Red Fox stars as a junk dealer, Uncle Bud. The plot revolves around $87,000.00 of stolen money hidden in a bail of cotton. The story is filmed very attractively in Harlem settings.

Although the plot is a little hard to follow at times, this film has held up well, and is amusing. The appeal is helped by a beautiful transfer of a film with good photography and art direction to begin with, and a talented cast. Maltin awards 3 stars. The 58 people who have voted at IMDB say 6.4/10, which is pretty typical for a comedy. The film was made for $1.2m, which was average for a blacksploitation film in the early 70s. I could find no box office data, but recollection is that it did rather well.

The 6th Day is that Schwartzenegger clone movie, in which the big fella plays the Doublemint twins. I kinda liked this film - plenty of action, good visuals, lots of humor. Very comparable to the old time Arnie. In fact, too comparable to Total Recall, but still fun, and quite a bit of flesh for a PG-13 flick

Python is a pretty lame entry into the horror-spoof genre. It isn't that bad on the horror, but the spoofery just ain't that funny.

    • Lori Dawn Messuri (1, 2)
    • Sara Mornell (1, 2)

TomCat did Nathalie Baye in that "Liaison Pornographique" movie, and the legendary jazz singer slash spy Josephine Baker from a special on fashion TV. And yes, she is naked, which is always the best fashion.

Tomcat also did "Les Femmes", a 1969 film with Bardot and Anny Duperey

    Graphic Response
  • Shannon Tweed Scenes from super poor, (even bad by Scoopy Jr standards) "Rowdy Girls".

  • Brit Ekland A very very collage of topless images from "Get Carter"...the original one, not the Stallone re-make.

  • Hot Stuff!
  • MASSIVE CLEAVAGE from Jennifer Love Hewitt! Vidcaps by DAI from the movie "Breakers", due to hit theaters March 23rd.

A special feature for today, one which I hope to repeat. It will be called Page 3 Bums. And by that we do not mean hobos you can find upon turning page 2. All the babes are third pagers of the tabloid type and all sport interesting bums. Some might be said to give Jennifer Lopez a run for Puffy's money, not that I'm implying he pays her or anything like that.

Saturday is the day before our most sacred holiday here in the U. S., and you know what that means: a mega monster post from me for Sunday. Gotta get that momma ready.

    Shannon Tweed
    (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
    This week's theme...A Skinemax legend!

Naturally, since it's Shannon, there's nudity everywhere. Here are the sources:

  • #1 "Singapore Sling" aka "Scandalous Behavior" (1998) This is the Tweed movie with the highly debated scene that shows possible penetration. (Visible here on the right). No one knows why, but this was produced, directed by, an even starred James Hong, or as I like to call him, "the other Mr. Miyagi". Yup, when you need a creepy old Asian guy, you call Hong. Most folks know him from "Big Trouble in Little China", "Wayne's World 2", and of course my favorite of all of his roles..."Snotty" the master of Zen-gross-out philosophy in "Revenge of the Nerds 2"
  • #2 from the incredibly non-erotic, erotic thriller "Naked Lies"
  • #3 scenes from "Body Chemistry 4". The 5th and most recent collaboration with her on-screen, tag team partner, Andrew Stevens.
  • #4 in "Shadow Warriors II: Hunt for the Death Merchant" (1998)
  • #5 scenes from 1995's "Electra"

  • Oz
    Victoria Pratt
    (1, 2, 3, 4)

These caps appeared last week - they're from Whatever it Takes. After Celebrity Sleuth identified the actress I have just corrected the caption.

    Deborah Kellner

    Elisa Donovan

    Gigi Rice

    Raquel Gardner

    Loni Anderson

From "A Night at the Roxbury"
There's not a lot of nudity in these caps - only Deborah Kellner shows anything and this has appeared before in the Fun House. The movie is about two brothers with an IQ of 60, but who love the disco scene. The Roxbury is a night club where a lot of the action takes place.

Elisa Donovan and Gigi Rice are two prostitutes who think the brothers are loaded and are easy marks. They have an IQ of about 65.

Raquel Gardner is described as a 'hot chick'. You'll have to watch Species II to see a lot more of her.

Loni Anderson - she just has cleavage, even if it is sagging a bit these days.

    Olivia d'Abo
    (1, 2)

Olivia was about 17 when "Conan the Destroyer" was made, although she looks younger. Non-nude, just some nice cleavage.

    Teri Garr
    (1, 2)

    Lisa Blount

    From "Out Cold":
I enjoyed this movie - it's about two partners who run a butcher's shop. One partner, Teri Garr's husband, is as randy as a rabbit - and Teri is also having a fling. Murder, intrigue and double-cross all add up to an entertaining movie. No nudity but some nice pokies by Teri, and Lisa runs around in her underwear.
Laila Robbins No nudity by Laila but some nice caps. The movie is "True Crime" and stars Clint Eastwood as a reporter determined to save a criminal on death row. Laila is one of his extra-curricular activities.

    Ali MacGraw
    (1, 2, 3, 4)
Some of these topless caps have appeared before but I don't think there's been a comprehensive set of caps from Just Tell Me What You Want in the Fun House. The movie itself is dull but what nips!. Ali is an ambitious television reporter who is sleeping with a self-centered and wealthy business man. She wants him to fund one of her productions but he doesn't like women in business. A predictable movie.

    Charlotte Ayanna
    (1, 2)

    Rose McGowan

    Julie Benz

    Judy Greer

    From "Jawbreaker":
This is one of those teen flicks and DVD caps would be a lot better. It's about 3 friends who kidnap the fourth girl in their clique, Charlotte Ayanna, for a joke. Unfortunately it backfires when they put a jawbreaker (I gather it's a large sweet) in her mouth and manage to choke her to death. The rest of the movie is how they go about avoiding arrest. Judy Greer joins the clique in a type of Eliza Dolittle transformation.

Not a particularly good movie and the police forensic and pathology departments would have had to extremely incompetent for the girls' plans to succeed.

No nudity but Rose shows some very nice cleavage and some pokies. Charlotte is in her underwear and the rest are just pleasant viewing.

    Ya Parulava
    (1, 2)
Excellent nude scene from "Georgische Trauben".

For the Yanks out there, Ya co-starred in a fantastic indie called "The Making of '...And God Spoke'". One of the best mockumentaries since "Spinal Tap". It's the story of a B-movie producer and director who grow weary of making films like "Nude Ninjas", and decide to make a big budget remake of the Bible. Naturally, they have a few problems along the way. A little hard to find on the rental shelves, but well worth it if you appreciate the genre.

Simone Heher Breast exposure in scenes from the German series "Klinik unter Palmen".

    and ...
J Lo A second version of yesterday's excellent collage of Ms. Lopez. On the rebound, I gots ta give props to Artisane for keepin' it real. (Hey, if I'm going to get a beatin' I might as well go all the way!)

    Julie Saunders

    Unknown

    Comments by C2000:
A couple of nudes from "Circus". This wasn't much of a movie. Julie Saunders is the hotel receptionist who provides "room service". The unknown babe may be Louise Rolfe?

    Barbara Carrera
    (1, 2)

Excellent full frontal vidcaps by Scanman from 1982's "I, the Jury".

    Lisa Bonet
    (1, 2)

Excellent 'caps from "Angel Heart". I'd be willing to bet that "Angel Heart" must be in the top 10 list of "Most frequently 'capped "real" movies". Trust me, that's not a complaint, just an observation.

Jennifer Salt Topless scenes from 1969's "Midnight Cowboy", by Don Juan.

Sarah Alexander Ahh, the Brits and their nutty TV shows! Vidcaps of Sarah wearing only a scarf, and boots, while riding a bike in scenes from the tv show "Armstrong and Miller".
