Tuna
"Mudhoney"

Mudhoney (1965) is a Russ Meyer's film made immediately after Lorna, and again features Lorna Maitland. It is set in the depression, in some small town in Missouri. John Furlong arrives in route to California, and takes a job as a hired hand with Stuart Lancaster. Lancaster's niece (Antoinette Christiani) is married to a creep (Hal Hopper) who spends all of his time drinking and playing at the local cat house/moonshiner. Hopper only married to inherit the farm when Lancaster's bad heart finally kills him. There are two girls at the whore house. Lorna Maitland, and her deaf mute sister, Rena Horten.

Furlong and Christiani fall in love, and Hopper pretends to find religion with the local scumbag preacher, and then spreads the word that The whole family are tools of Satan to turn the town against them. He is drunk, and physically abusive to nearly everyone anytime he is on camera. The showdown is inevitable, but the ending was somewhat of a surprise. Horten and Maitland show breasts and buns, and Cristiani shows breasts.

IMDB readers have this at 6.6 of 10. Most of the acting is reminiscent of early film, and seems way over the top. This is more of a story than Lorna, but is a little lighter on nudity. C.

The Skinatollah also had some comments about another Sundance film, the immortal Cremaster 3

The final work of the five-part Cremaster series created by Matthew Barney, this experimental art piece is so hard to understand, comprehend and not yawn at that most of you will never see the thing. Don't worry, being as it's three-hours long, that's no great loss to you. What it does feature is a little nudity and a lot of sexual innuendo, featuring Aimee Mullins (we think) dug up out of the ground, totally naked, covered in mud, then placed in the back seat of a Chrysler which is then beaten to a pulp in a demolition derby. Yes, we know how silly that sounds - we had to sit through three hours of it.

Here are the latest movie reviews available at scoopy.com.

    • The yellow asterisks indicate that I wrote the review, and am deluded into thinking it includes humor.
    • If there is a white asterisk, it means that there isn't any significant humor, but I inexplicably determined there might be something else of interest.
    • A blue asterisk indicates the review is written by Tuna (or Lawdog or Junior or C2000 or Realist or ICMS or Mick Locke, or somebody else besides me)
    • If there is no asterisk, I wrote it, but am too ashamed to admit it.

    'Caps and comments by Hankster:

Today we kick it off with a "Babe in Bondage" scene of an unknown blonde in "Hells Gate". A really bad movie. I think it was Scoop that reviewed it a while back, and it is every bit as bad has he said it was in his review. I never found it on DVD to rent in my hometown so had to resort to VHS for these caps.

After this scene the movie goes straight downhill. The blonde was supposed to be Patty Kensit's character in the movie, and I guess Patty wouldn't do the scene so she shows up later after having plastic surgery.

Then back to another stinker of a movie from 1979 called "The Demon". Fleeting shots of Jennifer Holmes topless and in panties, as well as some topless shots of Zoli Marki.

    • Zoli Marki (1, 2)

Nero did a very nice job with this collection of some familiar scans. Originally these were B&W's, but Nero took a little artistic license and added a little color.

    (1, 2)

From the 80's classic "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (1982). I'm sure you already know what to expect in the nudity department, and Don also included Cates deep throating the carrot (link #1).

Jamie Luner The former "Melrose Place" co-star in a love scene from the movie "Sacrifice". The love scene is kinda dark, but Luner shows off breast, bum and the fact that she's in great shape. As for the movie, if it's late at night and choices are few...you could do much worse.
