All I See Is You

All I See Is You is a drama where Gina (Blake Lively), a partially blind woman since an accident in her childhood, and her husband James (Jason Clarke) are living in Bangkok and are happily married and are trying to make a baby. Gina is also getting surgery that will hopefully improve her eye sight greatly and it does. Gina is introduced to the new world of sight and it starts to change her in ways that trouble James. Things come to a head during a trip to Spain to visit GIna's sister Carla (Ahna O'Reilly) and he decides to take drastic measures to get the old Gina back, but that doesn't quite go to plan causing Gina to fall into the arms of Daniel (Wes Chatham). Can things get back to the way they were or will tragedy strike first? Ah, the old 'disabled person changes when they get their ability back' plot, that old chestnut.

OK idea, but the dramatic tension is weak and then becomes heavily forced when it doesn't initially seem enough. Also, another movie set in Bangkok where the cast is predominantly white. Am I missing something here? Like to think that this is Blake Lively first proper nude scenes, but I'm just not convinced, all very much looking like a double. And Yvonne Strahovski is listed 4th in the credits but only has one blink and you'll miss scene in the movie, suggesting a whole lot of her role was cut. Feels more like a missed opportunity, for what, I don't know.
