Chasers (1994) is a story of two swabies assigned to escort a female prisoner from one base to another. Tom Berenger is a carrier Chief who chases prisoners full time. William McNamara is an E2 and petty swindler who is due to be discharged. The prisoner? Erika Eleniak. Comparison with "The Last Detail" is a bad idea for two reasons. First, The Last Detail is a great film, and Chasers is a small film. Second, The Last Detail is a character driven drama, while Chasers is a light romantic comedy. Don't expect any depth of characters here. Look for two things -- Erika's breasts, and Erika's acting talent.

Everyone agrees that this is a pretty weak effort, with Maltin awarding 1 1/2 stars and IMDB readers giving it a 4.8/10. It grossed $1.56m. It is a watchable film in my estimation, but certainly not a masterpiece.

I watched the unwatchable. "Glam" I still don't know what it was about. But I know it was bad. there was nudity, but not enough for an nc-17, and none from the famous people. But, hey, how many movies feature Ali McGraw these days? And Valerie Kaprisky?

(Legendary Herzog film about one man's attempt to build an opera house amidst the shanties and rubble of a small Amazon village, requiring him to drag a riverboat over a mountain.)

I took a look at Traffic. Good movie. Soderbergh. Touted as possible "Best Picture" this year. Male nudity, but no women.

Just for reference. I reviewed these movies some time ago, but they had wide openings yesterday.

The Gift. (Katie Holmes topless, seen in older editions). Solve the crime with psychic powers. Good cast, wasted on uninteresting script.

Snatch (No nudity that I could find, although IMDb said there was some.) Good, hip movie, in the manner of "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels", from the same director. Quite funny if you can understand what they're saying.

What I wouldn't pass on, not for a minute, if she had the bad sense to ask is Claudia Albertario, Argentine model. No one should be allowed to look like this. It's too... too, uh... distracting.

And while we are on the subject, I dunno if Emma Maslin has appeared on the page of 3, but she is from the U. K., and she is a combination of cute as a button and uninhibited as a rabbit that blows me away. Or I should be so lucky. (1, 2)

Lastly, a couple of continuations from yesterday's post.

1) Found out there is no Angelique Gorges pics in the Encyclopedia, so I went out of my way to correct that situation. These scans are from the web; fixed them up a bit and glued them together. Seriously muscular legs and arse on this woman, which probably accounts for the fact she has been on the cover of several muscle mags.

2) Busty Hart, of Man Show beer can crushing fame, is a famous stripper. Found her all over the web, including a painfully long autobiography... and a news item. Seems she was sued by a patron of a strip club in Illinois (guy was probably from Missouri, where hot oil is reserved for sniveling politicians). The patron claimed physical damage from being struck by Busty's 113 ZZZ breasts. And if you go back to the silly thing I posted yesterday you will see in the far right-hand cap Busty flagellating a midget with her boobs. The little fella seemed none the worse for it, but the dear patron suffered whiplash or some such. Only in America, folks.

'Caps from the shoulda-been-straight-to-video movie "Anaconda". Every time I see it I keep expecting John Voight break out the "We don't need no stinkin' badges" line.
