"The Great Texas Dynamite Chase" (1977)
The Great Texas Dynamite Chase (1977) is from Roger Corman, and like so many Corman films, has futures stars, good production value, lots of skin, and was made for the drive-in theater market. As the film opens, Candy Morgan has just escaped from prison using some sticks of dynamite that the prison had thoughtfully taught her to use on a work gang. She then robs a bank, to give the money to her family to save their farm. Ellie-Jo Turner has just been fired from her teller job for being late, and ends up helping Candy collect the money. Ellie-Jo decides this is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to her, and ends up joining Candy. The two cut a wide swath through Texas banks, the cops, and several men, looking for equal parts money and fun. The men in their life are expendable toys, which is an unusual gender reversal for the 70's.
Take away the sex, the fun, the nudity and the dynamite, and replace it with overbearing feminist dialogue, and you have Thelma and Louise, which was, at least in part, inspired by this film. The film was directed by Emmy winning Michael Pressman, best known for his work in TV. The part of Candy was played by Claudia Jennings, Playmate of the month, September, 1968, and 1970 playmate of the year. She was arguably the best Playmate turned actress, and was the queen of the drive-in movie, with such credits as Gator Bait, and Sisters of Death. She died tragically in an auto accident at age 29, ending what would have probably been a huge career. She shows everything in several nude scenes in this film. Ellie-Jo was played by Jocelyn Jones, who shows breasts and buns, again in several scenes. Jocelyn had several roles spread through 3 decades, but works mainly teaching drama.
IMDB readers, who are usually disrespectful of exploitation comedy, have this at 4.4 of 10. As you know, I have a high regard for this genre, but frankly, this film somewhat transcends even that. It is entertainment, not great cinema, but it is great entertainment. It has pace, action, humor, decent production values, great acting, and a happy ending. I will give this a very high C+.

wouldn't credit that as a correct answer. Can you imagine?

A Clockwork Orange,
as you know, is one of the great films, and you've probably seen plenty of
captures from the scene where McDowell and his droogies rape the writer's wife
while crooning "Singin' in the Rain". I'll bet you haven't seen these, because
they aren't in the movie. My daughter gave me a book about Kubrick for
Christmas, and she picked a good one. Not only does it include a lot of
behind-the-scenes material, but some of that is nudity! The first two are
photographs of Kubrick operating the camera while filming that scene. The last
one is a still from the set, and it shows a camera angle that didn't make it
into the final film.

King of Hearts is one weird film, one of the
many films that Europeans made about WW1 during the Vietnam War. For Europe,
WW1 was their Vietnam, and that topic gave European filmmakers a chance to
express anti-war thoughts in their oblique and subtle way, without directly
attacking the Vietnam policies of their ally and protector, the States.
Although many people die in this film, there is almost no blood, and the
process is handled with cartoon silliness. Although King of Hearts is, indeed,
a silly movie, thee are scenes that pack a strong emotional wallop.

Anneka DiLorenzo, born Marjorie Lee Thoreson, was Pet of the Month and of the Year, oh so long ago. Starred (as it were) in a couple of movies.... including the infamous Caligula, where she did both boys and girls. Sued Penthouse later for sexual harassment when Guccione made her bed down with business clients. More than the usual 15 minutes of fame for her. And she really was very pretty: a babe by anyone's definition. Got the scans to prove it. The one and only PETScan did the honors.

Not long ago Magicman introduced his "Golden Age or Porn" series. The response was very positive, and today I'm pleased to post the latest installment.

Here are 11 caps from the second movie in the top 100 films of the Golden Age of Porn....
"Babyface 2" is NOT a sequel to the original "Babyface", in fact they share nothing in common except both films were directed by Alex deRenzy and both films featured wall to wall sex. This is the story of a bachelorette party that turns into a wild sex orgy thanks to some hocus pocus by Jamie Gillis. Taija Rae is the headliner and is stunning in her three sets (one each with Tom Byron, Jerry Butler and Stacy Donovan) and everyone turns in knockout performance's in multiple individual sets.
There are many things worth noting about this film. First it was shot on 35mm film stock so the color saturation is vividly rich unlike the direct video process we see today. And although it was made in 1987, it holds up very well to any porn film of current time. Also the film was shot on location with
beautiful natural settings highlighted by a lush hot tub set with Candy Evans and Tom Byron, who together look like the clean cut all-American couple from next door. Candy (known for her little girls squeaky voice and world class ass) was only in the adult business for two years, so adult movie collectors
treasure many of the films in which she appeared. She was also known for her highly flexible body which allowed her to get into some truly inspiring sexual positions.
In addition to Candy, the all star cast includes Lois Ayers, Stacey Donovan, Melissa Melendez, Coreena Collins, Kristara Barrington and Lynn Francis. deRenzy did many things right in this movie, not the least of which was to let the cast do what they do best and secondly he also used the actual first names of everyone in the cast which makes it easy for someone watching the film to identify who's who in the cast. "Babyface 2" is perhaps not as ground breaking as was the original Babyface but it nevertheless is an equally highly rated film of the Golden Age of Porn.

There is very little IMDb info and it does not appear to be available on video. It also stars Tyra Banks, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova, and Amber Smith and from the user comments, it sounds like it was sort of a real movie (meaning they weren't playing themselves). If anyone has any more info, let us know.

Our first look at the foreign film that is winning nominations and awards everywhere, "Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" or "Amélie" for short. Most recently it picked up a Golden Globe nod for Best Foreign Language Film, and is a strong Oscar candidate as well.
As for the nudity, this is Isis Peyrade's only film credit, and she bares her breasts. Thanks to DeVo for the images.
