Another Day, Another Man
Gigi
Darlene and Darlene Bennett reappeared in
Wishman’s Another Day, Another Man (1965) but only
in an odd insert that has them dance around in
bras and panties. No exposure, but they do
look great.
Also unexposed or barely so are the two stars of
Another Day,
Barbara
Kemp and the endomorph to end all
endomorphs,
Mary
O’Hara. They play roommates.
Barbara spends some time in a black lace body suit
and some more time in white lace lingerie, both of
which managed to hide 98% of her, 98% of the time.
Mary strips down to bra and panties a time or two
but gives up nothing more.
The movie, itself, is not the least bit memorable,
which means I cannot remember how or why Mary is
so tormented throughout its runtime. Don’t’
know. Don’t care. For us, it is just
another lost opportunity to make a Funhouse-worthy
classic. Another Day had me wondering, however,
had Barbara Kemp and the bountiful Mary O’Hara
appeared in the buff sometime in their
careers? Well, here we have the late, great
Tuna to the rescue.
The Girl From S.I.N.
1966
Tuna captured a topless Mary O’Hara in The Girl
From S.I.N., in which she made clear what a
misnomer is the word, topless, when we use it to
describe her.
Unholy Matrimony
1966
What about Barbara Kemp, then? Tuna grabbed a lot
of frames from movie called, Unholy Matrimony, and
even though he wasn’t sure about the gals in a
topless pool party scene, he posted a bunch of
images of them. Well, one of those topless
gals was Barbara Kemp, so there we have her with
the twins out.
A brief aside, here: An
actress named Monica Davis, who appeared in
several grindhouse movies rather late in her
career (her first movie on IMDb came out in
1948), was also in Unholy Matrimony
The same Monica Davis appeared again in a movie
called ....
The Hookers
1967
In fact, let me go farther aside and make an
important point that throughout the many years
that Uncle Scoopy has put together the thousands
of issues of the Funhouse, several imagers have
made it a point to post pics and clips of nekkid
gals that they could not identify. But with
the passage of time, we sometimes figure out who
they are.
A good example of this form of progress is the
movie ...
Mini-Skirt Love
1967
Tuna posted a shit-ton of pics of two uncredited
actresses who spent a lot of time in some state of
undress. One of them made a few other movies
in which she is credited, so a little time and a
little effort leads us to identify her as Bella
Donna.
A second woman – a one-hit wonder – shows up in
IMDb as Mercedes DeMorcerf (she or her agent
appears to have a fan of Alexandre Dumas).
A broader point is the richness of the Back Issues
– they make up a living history of cinema nudity
that can keep a boy amused for hours on end.
Or, as Hobbes said to Calvin, there is treasure
everywhere you look.
