Did you know that the infamous Roman Polanski, director of The Ninth Gate, is currently working on a new film? His first directorial effort was 61 years ago and he is 83 years old. That's pretty old for a director, but he's a spring chicken compared to Clint Eastwood, who will turn 87 in May. On the other hand, Eastwood was a late starter on that side of the camera, and has been directing for a mere 45 years.
